Technologies move fast these days, but it doesn’t seem long since there were discussions on here about the merits of 3D tv, especially for watching sport.
The fad didn’t last long, does anyone still have a 3D set?

only ever tried it at the cinema, i think the glasses put people off using them on a regular basis, surprised they havent come up with a set of contact lenses

It's similar to the fad for concave TV screens that became popular but didn't sell in huge numbers sue to the negatives of viewing angle.

Used to have one but so much that was supposed to be 3D wasnt
