the way things are going it could be the first and last game for a while
so what do we think ?
3-0, great performance 0-0 lucky to get a point or worse
i'm hopeful for the better option, and just hope the game goes as well off the pitch as on it
come on town
oh, and ping those crosses into the box ;-)

The “ rule of 6 “ will apply . Mind you , if the opposition decides to put 6 players in the box to defend corners that’s us buggered .

we will miss pierre , playing away from home i hope we can replicate the attacking intensity showed against middlesbrough after there draw last week Norhampton will be looking for there first win of the season. an early goal by town would settle the nerves. i hpe to see Vela take a few corners to just mix it upa bit.

Think we will win today and also have a good day off the pitch with all the clubs hard work paying off. In the greater scheme of things however think its going to be a very difficult and unusual season with games being postponed and clubs going out of business. Have to enjoy and make the most of games that are played. Town are ok financially at the moment and long may it continue but no club of our size can continue a whole season without income coming in surely.

Pierre will certainly be missed as Northampton are very direct and should not be underestimated. Looking forward to seeing some of the new lads playing and hope we can put on a good show in attack with the new formation. Did anyone notice the bit about not shouting or singing in the supporters' code of conduct? That is going to be difficult when we score!

Will be intriguing to watch the 1,000 Salopians on iFollow when we score today. Naturally reaction is to jump up and shout so cant see too many doing jazz hands when we score!

Having to watch from home will rob me of the great chance to show my prowess as a great football visionary.
"Boooo, get Cummings off"
"Ahh......great goal, Jason".

Morning sports fans.
Just looking to the video on the Facebook page there appears to have been a fair bit of planning and work gone into getting supporters in the ground today. Really hope it works out well and everyone who attends enjoys the day.
And I think they'll be happy with what they see on the pitch anyhow. I'm looking forward to this. Of the three options I'm going with "3-0, great performance". Still optimistic that we will be a little more attacking and a little more entertaining than we were last season.
Come on Town.

Don't know much about him.

12 minutes in and we're one nil down and I'm not sure we've even been in their half yet.

Dreadful so far. Early substitution seems to have thrown us into chaos.

Northampton first to every second ball. Can’t blame it all on the substitution. Northampton are just physical and we are getting bullied a tad.

Maybe the start stop from the kick off didn't help us either, as well as the forced substitution.
Bit better now though although one or two still struggling to make a pass.

Fossey is struggling to get into the game and partly at fault for the goal. We are getting caught in possession far to much and unless we start matching the physical battle it will be a real tough afternoons watch.

Promising at times but at times our lads just seem to be on a different wavelength from each other.

Attacking midfielders not moving enough off the ball enough for me , I’d like to see Cummings come centre with Gareth bale coming on out wide , take anyone off apart from Whaley

Such a sluggish start. Be a darn shame if we don't get anything out of this game because of an awful ten minutes.

75% possession for Town....after zero for the first 15.
If we get one early we will get 3 or 4 here.
