This one was called by salop18 six years ago if I recall correctly, good to see it finally over the line.
WELCOME SHILOW.

I know Shilow said he was pleased to join us, but that look on his face says, "where the **** am I?"

I was told we were signing a winger at about 9am this morning which was to be announced today. I just didn’t bother writing on here as I seem to get hounded all the time so b******s to it 😂

Interesting signing. Sounds like good competition for Whalley and pace in a forward is a valuable asset at any level. It's not often we get players from Spurs. I think David Button the goalie must have been the last one.

Don't shoot the messenger, but a friend who support Spurs and knows a fair bit about their youth team messaged me with "apologies in advance for this, he's rubbish"
Hopefully he's completely off the mark! At the very least we've got a bit of depth in wide areas that we've been lacking in recent years.

Yes he will provide depth and cover. Doubt he will start many, hopefully he will prove me wrong and be a star

Big step up for him, I hope he proves to be an asset for us.
It's noticeable that all of our outfield signings so far have no/very limited league 1 experience. Hopefully they all adapt quickly.

Just my thoughts.

Tracey hasn't been involved in the pre-season friendlies, he's not one of the ones who have been training with the first team either at any point, and he's one of the ones where youth team watchers are surprised wasn't moved on permanently before now as it would free up space for younger players to come through. Maybe he'll make a good impact for us. If so, I'd definitely say he's a potential permanent signing

What’s he’s done is irrelevant
It’s what he does now that matters
I’ll judge then

Good stuff and good luck to him.
And perhaps another indication that we mean to be a little more attacking this season. Never hurts to have a pacy winger about the place. Looking forward to seeing what he can do...👍

I suspect many Spurs fans expect their youth players to be the next Gareth Bale. He could be just what we need.
Expectations of Premier League club fans rarely coincide with us in the proper leagues. So I welcome him. He sounds very keen to do well and that’s good enough for me.

Our type of player - Opportunity knocks! www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/02/19/tottenham-hotspurs-shilow-tracey-scores-first-ever-goal-on-loan/"It is now four years since Tottenham signed Shilow Tracey in January 2016. He was the club’s only signing of that transfer window, and a low key one. Despite this, there were hopes the teenager from Ebbsleet United might go on to become another Dele Alli. It hasn’t really worked that way, with Tracey spending the last three and a half seasons with the under-23s rather than getting near the first team. Now 21, he went out on his first loan spell in January with Macclesfield Town and scored his first goal last night. Tracey scored the opener for the League Two side although they were later pegged back to a 1-1 draw by visitors Plymouth Argyle. This is a bright start for the youngster, who was playing his fourth game for Macclesfield. Realistically he is playing for a future in the game away from Spurs, with his chances of breaking through very slim. If he can get a proper run together, and start netting on a near weekly basis between now and May, you never know."
