Indeed. I wonder if they’ll all demand a winter break!! Just won't be able to fit all games in, can't extend the season by any meaningful amount due to the delayed Euros. Not a huge problem at our level but just no way the Premier or the Championship could do it. And lets be honest it is them that run football in this Country (isn't it )

So with the Cup Final yesterday, this today, the Championship Playoff not until Tuesday and the Trophy not yet played will the players and clubs have a normal length close season if it starts in September? I think they will all be demanding an Autumn break!! Don't forget the champions league (Man City & Chelsea) and europa (Man Utd & Wolves) league also need finishing. They start this Weds (5th).
A lot of players from L1 down them will have had a close season starting in March!!
The IFAB that introduced 5 subs as a temporary measure have said Leagues will be able to use 5 next season too, it'll be up to each League.
No sympathy from me

Mr Klopp will probably implode! At least he can sun himself on a beach and watch the conclusion of the champions league as their season is finished now

No sympathy from me I agree but I see that SR reckons the danger of early injury could occur after such a long break? So I suppose if that’s the case the players who have played recently will be in a better state than those who haven’t even if they haven’t had their summer break!

They will moan about fixture congestion next season...but there's no excuses to hear it after that! Wonder if the congestion will throw up some mad anomalies like Leicester winning the Prem again...or wrexham getting promoted

Perhaps they would prefer unemployment as against a bit of supposed Fixture congestion, poor things

Notts County, real club with real history. Harrogate, plastic club with a plastic pitch. What's plastic about a club founded in 1914? I'm glad Harrogate won. Notts County need to spend a bit longer rediscovering their humility after inflicting the ultimate plastic 'project' on English football not so long ago.

Doncaster is 43 miles away. Why not play at the new stadium in York? Only 23 miles away. Mind you, that's assuming it's been completed, as Covid-19 has caused delays.

I think they will all be demanding an Autumn break!! Not sure how managers like Klopp (& Ricketts for that matter) are going to endure playing 2 games most weeks to fit all games into a shortened season when we do finally kick off. Will be really interesting to listen to the constant whine about "too many games". It would be really nice to think Klopp, Liverpool and their fans might gain a sense of perspective on the whole thing in the light of a pandemic causing tens of thousands of excess deaths followed by a deep recession and wind their collective necks in a bit and realise that they might have to play a lot of games in a truncated period, possibly - gasp - not winning all of them as a result, but ultimately it's not the worst thing that could happen. Somehow I doubt it though. I expect they'll all find themselves in the "taking it all far too seriously" bracket soon enough. Personally, I think the long break and the weird timetable might be a bit of a levelled which might have the opportunity to throw up a few surprises. Should be good.

If Liverpool don’t win the league you can just imagine him pouting in the press conferences that it’s down to fatigue, too many games and how utterly unfair it is they haven’t had a break.

I did say they were the biggest bottlers in the history of football, they have strengthened their grip on that title this season
