Looking ridiculously tight at the moment with anyone of the bottom six in real danger of going down. Some big names down there, a lot of teams that were in the Premier League not that long ago. Like most of us I’m sure, I’d love to see Stoke relegated but would also fancy Huddersfield and Hull as new grounds (assuming we’re allowed to go) www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table

If it could be Huddersfield and Barnsley that would be great for me I must admit.

I was going to do a thread on this last night after seeing the results but nver got round to it. Any of the 3 relegation spots up for grabs, Luton are putting up a stubborn fight. Decent point at Leeds last night and even took the lead. Only 2 points between bottom and 21st although their goal difference may well be their undoing. Personally like to see Hull come down as it's one of my 6 to complete the 92 although Brentford are making a lunge for the top 2 which would be a bugger. Stoke would be a nice local derby. I'm sure they said on 5live last night that when Wigan went 3 up Stoke were bringing on 2 defenders to protect their goal difference!
Plenty of recent PL clubs in amongst it - great to see!!

10 point deduction will put Wigan bottom Apparently it’s now automatic 12point deduction. But as the form team at the moment still a good chance of staying up, if players keep producing the goods

With Luton gone was rather hoping for two of either Hull, Stoke and Huddersfield. Both Luton and Wigan are all too familiar to get excited about.

Wouldn't rule Charlton out either, although they've done well since the resumption. No idea what the remaining fixture lists look like.
Selfishly, it would be nice to have some new names in our league - the Wigan, Rotherham, Barnsley yo-yo is a bit boring. Just so long as they don't drop with a ruddy great parachute payment to distort everything!

Was that the game where the food kiosk was taken apart? or was that Leeds? it was boro, I almost got a good hiding , cycled home down underdale road and came out where the island is now on telford way ( it wasn't built then) there was a car load of boro fans having a pee, they weighed me up and suspected I was a town fan and gave me some verbals, when I thought I was far enough away I shouted "going down", as they quickly headed back to their car heathgates island suddenly seemed light years away but i just made it before they did and can remember 3 or 4 half drunk cans flying past me as I went one way and they went the other if it was today I'd have probably ended up in the river with a massive splash

If more clubs go into administration it could look very different. I bet a lot of clubs are hanging on until end of season to go into admin

it was the 2nd season running they visited us last game of the season and needed something to stay up, first time they won 2-0, I ended up on the pitch in a boro team photo after the game, I was trying to scrounge keepers gloves, ended up with a sock but gave it to a boro fan, would love to see a photo ;-)
it was also the day of the Bradford fire
and sadly Bradford wasn't the only football game that day where someone died
Birmingham v Leeds saw shocking scenes not dissimilar to heysel when violence led to a wall collapsing and killing a fan

Hopefully when next seasons fixture list comes out it will show us up against the clubs relegated from the championship at home a bit later in the season when restrictions are lifted and we are assured of a decent crowd. It would be disappointing to get a club like Stoke City at home very early behind closed doors. Roland and BC deserve a bit of luck to swell the pot.

Not done the maths, but Stoke vs Barnsley 3pm Saturday looks a big match. I remember driving on the A50 under the pedestrian bridge with loads of forlorn Stoke fans walking accross after the match that got them relegated from the Prem. Sad times up Stoke, loads of job losses in the factories up there too, 160 at a pottery today.

My only visit to either ground was to Leeds Road for 3rd round FA Cup in 1980. Remembered it hammering with rain all day, so rather than stand on open terrace, I treated myself to a seat in stands to watch us win 3-0 with Chic Bates scoring at least one.
