Living in Northamptonshire I have lots of happy friends right now and hopefully a nice local game.

Feel for Exeter If they lose again in the play off final. Lovely city to visit with great pubs.

Watching the final and being able to enjoy a game at (new) Wembley for once. Been all 4 times for Shrewsbury, Villa vs Chelsea (FA Cup semi final) and Huddersfield Town vs Reading (championship play off final) and not seen a win yet! It's got me thinking, do we have one of the worst records at Wembley?

It's got me thinking, do we have one of the worst records at Wembley? Yes - and its 5 time we have been and lost. Last time almost felt like we had progressed though, took it to ET.

I jinxed them, had a £5 free bet and put it on Exeter to score twice in 1st half, very nearly put it on Northampton by mistake doh

I watched the first few minutes and couldn't tolerate any more. Dreadful - Maxted (Exeter keeper) thumps it long, Arnold collects in the Northampton goal and thumps it back, straight into touch. Brought back memories of Coleman & Arnold doing that for us for most of the 2018/19 season (& O'Leary a fair bit last season).
Dire, keep it in League 2.

Northampton’s style makes Pulis’ Stoke look like prime Barcelona under Pep.
Horrible horrible football but they certainly play it well.

Dont think I have ever seen a team as demoralised as Exeter in a play-off final. They hardly won a header in the ninety minutes. Fair play to Northampton - it was not very pretty to watch but devastatingly effective. The lad up front on loan from West Brom for them could make a useful target man in League 1 if he wanted to go on loan to a better club like us. Get the tin helmets and air raid sirens ready for when Northampton come to visit next season!
