Perhaps you should look to your own party for terrorist sympathisers. Oh sorry, that should be actual terrorists.
As I called out on the Brixton thread (and got duly ignored I wonder why...!) the usual suspects using their tactic of “two wrongs make a right” to try and defend blatant anti semitism in the Labour Party. Embarrassing really The Tory sympathisers have been deflecting at Diane Abbot for years

Clearly some people just don't get it and never will. Your usual condescending and patronising self. This will be the end of my engagement with you. Pot kettle black.

As someone in Long Bailey’s position , Shadow Education Secretary , surely she should have known better . Her mate Maxine Peake comes out with utter ballocks , L-B decides , without thinking , to share the article which , in Starmers view , has antisemetic conspiracy theories in it and the damage has been done . L-B then says she did not endorse all aspects of the article which makes me think , well , which part didn’t she agree with and why ? Once you’ve got to that point then you surely start to ask a few more questions . To my mind L-B obviously didn’t realise , shall we say “forgot “ , that Corbyn ,McDonnell et al are no longer in charge of the Labour Party . Previously she would have got away with it but times have changed . Is Starmer making his mark ? Of course he is , no matter what Momentum thinks he is calling the tune. Labour under the previous leadership did **** all about antisemitism . Perhaps if they had taken more of a stand Labour wouldn’t have to deal with this type of situation . Personnally the thought of L-B as leader of the Labour Party leaves me cold . Thank goodness it didn’t happen . Oh god I couldn't deal with that. She's really shown that she not fit to be leader with this. Totally agree with your points.

RLB agreed the text of her second tweet with LOTO. The rate of clear-up of AS cases markedly increased upon the removal of McNichol.
Just for starters.

Google it and ****ing educate yourself....😂😂 do you know why I won’t, I do actually know the difference, but their religion has no bearing to me, yes a bit ignorant that I did not know, but as they are just people and humans, and generally pretty decent, it does not bother me, and is irrelevant..... xx I wouldn't worry yourself Downie. Its that kind of thinking that sees the Tories with an 80 seat majority and ahead in the polls with the most ethnically diverse cabinet in the history of the UK. And when looking to someone like Sunak, having people in place who are well placed to see the Tories stay ahead of the opposition for some time to come.👍 As with most of your posts on here inaccurate at totally out of touch. www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/jun/27/starmer-overtakes-johnson-as-preferred-choice-for-prime-minister?

Errrrm, OK Anyhow... The Tories have an 80 seat majority, right? They are ahead in the polls, right? Not when looking to the two leaders, I mean when looking to the parties? I mean even within the article you linked to it states... While the Tories remain four points ahead of Starmer’s party on 44% to Labour’s 39%.And whilst my comment on Sunak is just my opinion, I'm not entirely sure what an article in the Guardian proves when it is looking to compare Johnson and Starmer (not Sunak). So when you say my post is inaccurate and totally out of touch, where do you mean? Maybe its just my imagination but we seem to see a lot of this on here these days. People come on here, see something they don't like because it goes against their own political leanings, rush in to try and discredit the poster and the content but in doing so make a bit of hash of it. Perhaps we all ought to try a little better because I don't think it does the board any good. I still worry this sort of thing is stopping others from getting involved in such discussions.👍

Jonathan Pie. A well known purveyor of nuance.
But also incorrect. What he is describing here is a middle class trait consistent with a range of political views.

I was not trying to discredit anything just make a point that from a 20% lead in March that is now 4%. In 3 months Boris's approval rating has nosedived. If that carries on and the backbenchers get restless, which some already are, there could easily be a leadership contest. Even some sections of the Tory press are not impressed with Boris.

Keir Starmer is the establishment's insurance policy in case the Conservative Party doesn't come to its senses. A No Deal Brexit was always seen as a worthwhile risk to defeat Corbyn. Johnson has done that. The Sensibles need to take back control. However, that assumes what they have energised can be put back into the bottle. The current Chancellor as PM before May 2024? I don't think you'd get very long odds on that right now.

If that carries on and the backbenchers get restless, which some already are, there could easily be a leadership contest. Even some sections of the Tory press are not impressed with Boris. I'm not entirely sure why it matters when the article was released. Anyhow, what did I post that was inaccurate and totally out of touch? And perhaps its hardly surprising you think that of most things that I post if you think that of the post above...because as far as I can see, what I posted is correct. So when someone looks to claim otherwise, when someone counters like that, you do wonder whether its just that they don't appreciate seeing posts that are critical of their own side in things. You are right about Johnson, his popularity is receding and Starmer's appeal is increasing. There is now discussion about whether it will be Johnson who will actually fight the next election for the Tories. But even so, we still have to consider that the Tories have been in power for an awfully long time, they have been awfully exposed these last few months with the complete lack of readiness for a corona virus...yet even with that, they are still ahead in the polls. The Tories are very lucky in their opposition. Labour are in a very bad place at the moment and as recent events indicate, Starmer has a hell of a job on his hands to get them in a position to be an alternative for those he needs to vote Labour again to get them back into government. I think I was reading the other day that Labour would now need an unprecedented swing just to find themselves in contention with the Tories. Nevermind find themselves with any sort of majority. Things may change yes, they always can. But all things considered, at the moment the Tories are in a very good position.

Jonathan Pie. A well known purveyor of nuance. But also incorrect. What he is describing here is a middle class trait consistent with a range of political views. His satire is aimed at those middle class people who rant away on social media, or at their dinner parties, while missing the nuance of the arguments from the left. But, I guess satire can be interpreted in many ways.

Perhaps. I did say we all ought to see how we go about things. But of course I have no doubt that one or two on here will see it as such anyhow. That's how it seems to work now. Which kinda again proves my point. But I was just looking to respond to someone who said that what I had posted was inaccurate and out of touch (along with most things that I post). I don't see anything wrong in looking to do so, be nice to get an understanding of why they thought so. Or not?

The dearth of talent in the Tory cabinet is making Sunak look very good, just as Johnsons lack of anything approaching cognitive function is making Starmer look like a genius. It would certainly be interesting to see them go head to head. I would imagine that Sunak would force Starmer to have to up his game, but I think he has that ability and is actually holding back when faced with Johnson.
Sunaks only problem in my opinion is whether the Tory party members would ever elect him. Let's be honest, they're not renowned for being in anyway progressive.

Far more progressive than Labour. Two female PMs for starters ... Again, you just say something that isn't true because it's not your opinion or you don't like the truth.

If you don't fancy clicking the link, here are a few of the highlights:
97% white. 71% male. 54% from London and the South East. 5% 18-24 year olds. 86% in the ABC1 social grade. 84% think schools should teach children to obey authority. 44% believe censorship of films. 54% support the death penalty.
That certainly doesn't look like the ultimate in diversity to me.
Howdya like them truths? Or are they opinions? I can never tell.

At a desperate time for schools and faced with a useless Minister she made zero impact, a good reason for sacking her.
