What a fantastic final day of test cricket. 4 day test matches, no thanks.
Big decision now for the selectors, do they stick with a winning team, especially in the bowling department?

Thats a blast from the past. I've just done a quick search and his last post was in September last year where he was commenting on a certain English cricketer........

Will it be the same wicket? Will Stokes be fit to bowl? I’d want to go with Broad, Anderson, Woakes and Bess but if Stokes is only able to play as a batter it gets complicated. I think final selection will be based an the assessment of the wicket/weather.

Don't forget that Jack Leach is an option.
Bess was no more than average over the course of the game, and there is only one left hander in the West Indies line up, so unless Curran is playing, Bess will have little rough outside the right hander's off stump with which to work. Leach is a left hander.

Our weather forecast is rain Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.

Not sure whether he got banned or just scuttled off in embarrassment once Chokes won the World Cup. Either way, the board is better off without his poison.

As I recall he got upset if anyone disagreed with him and responded with personal abuse. He eventually threw his toys out when proved wrong once too often.

Very disappointing even though it comes as no surprise. Dom Bess will also continue as England's front line spinner.

Joe Root is so bloody frustrating of late, run out for 17, when is he next going to play a captain's innings?

England have allowed Joe Denly, Dan Lawrence, Craig Overton, Ollie Robinson and Olly Stone to leave the bio-secure bubble at Emirates Old Trafford. Denly is going to join the white-ball squad preparing for the three-match ODI series against Ireland.

122/4.
Buttler fails here and Foakes must surely come into contention.

122/4. Buttler fails here and Foakes must surely come into contention. Possibly lining Foakes up for the Pakistan series.
Comment on TMS earlier about Buttler and they said they'd been told he was safe for the current series but no mention of Pakistan one.

Anyone ever seen a Test cricketer bigger than Cornwall?
I can only think of Colin Milburn.

Yet again WI don't take the new ball when it's available, continue with Cornwall bowling. TMS suggest this time possibly because Holder is currently off the field!
Holder returns and new ball taken it after 82 overs
