You really can’t be this stupid can you? How’s he being stupid? There’s plenty of evidence on the internet that cloth face masks and blue paper face masks make next to no difference in reducing the spread of covid. That and the fact Covid is a bad cold at worst for almost everyone now, majority wouldn’t know they have it it’s that impotent now It’s absolutely scandalous visitors still aren’t allowed in hospitals and masks are enforced in some settings. This nonsense has to end Visitors are allowed at RSH. Christ on a bike it’s like playing chess with the Thicky Twins😂😂

I think it is with most of us already. Time for doctors surgeries and dentists (amongst others) to get back into the real world. "Time for doctors surgeries and dentists (amongst others) to get back into the real world." i agree ; i have a NHS dentists and they are still working on there backlog and there is a considrable delay for routine appointments and my GP is still not offering face to face appointments without going through a triage system then a phone consultation and if deemed worthy you get a face to face. I agree except…. I’ve been called for a routine check up at my NHS dentist (off butcher row corner of Pride Hill) and when needed walked to my GP arranged a phone consultation which happened before I left the surgery and saw the doctor same day. Not ideal I agree but people say they can’t get through to their GP (as I couldn’t) so just turn up and go through the process if you need a GP you’ll get one 👍

Christ on a bike it’s like playing chess with the Thicky Twins😂😂 exactly , the problem is when they are not allowed. i've been involved in that and it is the worse experience i've ever had in my life , it's so sad , the anxiety goes through the ceiling and patients can literally waste away without the full attention they require and some people are moaning at having to pop a mask on to visit loved ones one specifically labelled me joking at cotterill being like lampard as nonsensical and created a huge fuss about it , and then posts this about a life and death situation i'll leave it there

The double standards are incredible Covid, specifically omicron, isn’t life or death for an overwhelming vast majority of the population now

The question was around visitors, and visitors are allowed back at RSH. Have a good day👍😂

For those old enough to remember it’s above The Golden Egg…. for those even older butcher row used to be known as the shambles, in the early 1800s there was apparently 15 butchers there and probably slaughtering the animals on site , must have been an horrendous site, rather like modern day china I guess

'Nasal spray to boost your chances of fighting virus's off'?
Bloody great new idea. The British Olympic squad have used Vics First Defence for many years. What's the point in training for years to be at your peak for competitions then go down with a virus off a plane.
I've used it for 6 or 8 years myself, and rarely in that time has first symptoms ever developed onto a full blown cold.
Sure doing the same against Covid wohldnt be any different.

Pitch, just for your information I’ve grown tired of beating the drum for mask wearing and have changed tack. Trying to get Grizzly to take precautionary measures is a waste of time. So, I have decided to take another approach and tackle him about Monkey Pox. That should sort him out , before long he’ll be wearing every piece of PPE that he can get his hands on. No need to thank me., after all it’s for his own good.😉👍

Spend the flight carefully putting a drink to your mouth whenever any air stewardess is anywhere near and it wont be an issue (just pretend to take a drink). Leave an open packet of crisps on the tray that you fiddle with. It really is a practice art. I'm sure are only doing what they told to do, they wouldnt bother in the slightest if they actually had a choice in the matter. It really is a practice art Thanks for the tips The inconsistency and theatre of it all is flabbergasting. Flown with Jet2 months ago and not need a mask, RyanAir some middling mess and sounds like EasyJet are stuck in 2020. Quick update - not sure where you are going but reporting from Majorca Spain here, doubt most other tourist places are much different now though. Been on airport resort bus transfers, despite it being 'a requirement to wear a mask' in principle only the driver has worn one, the passengers have totally ignored it and no one has even mentioned it. On a tourist train through the mountains today, same 'restrictions', all totally ignored even though the driver and ticker collector have had one on. Public service busses do have some compulsion, though a mask at half mast as a chin warmer is pretty acceptable. I'm guessing same on public trains. Basically, carry a mask just in case but the requirement to actually use it is reducing by the day. Supermarkets and shops, well gone now. Enjoy wherever you are going, its much better than last August when we first went abroad.

Its actually the Netherlands in a few weeks so it’ll be very interesting to see where they are at and how it compares to both here and Spain. Having done Spain in March and May, the difference in attitude and adherence in only 6 weeks was vast. We are almost there, almost back to normal

Isn’t the obsession with being back to normal a little bit abnormal? Who knows? Normality was never stolen from us before based on dodgy modelling and liars, who evidently knew Covid posed little danger for the vast majority, given they ignored the rules they set!

Well I’m not back to normal yet cos I still have to wear a mask eight hours a day and work in an environment more akin to an abattoir with all the clear plastic curtains and stuff, but otherwise I’m pretty much there. I just find it a bit odd (no offence intended) that the three of you seem obsessed with what others are doing rather than you and your own behaviours and liberties👍

But what about in your out of work times what do you do? Do you wear a mask all the time or are you much like the rest of the folk who havnt worn one in ages now (thankfully). Just curious, as you've probably got more chance of catching it / passing it onto others from your out of work actions.
