Reading on Twitter some awful news relating to one of our exiles - Really shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden passing away of Kenneth Lovgren, loyal supporter and great social media contributor who was always airing on the positive side all things Shrewsbury Town
Rest in peace Kenneth

Really shocked and saddened to read this news. Always looked out for his comments and responses to matches. He was always so supportive and positive about the team and club. Perhaps distance gave him a better sense of proportion than most of us.
Must have been so unexpected - he was planning an Anfield trip on Sunday. At least his last match was one of the best.
RIP Kenneth, a little part of the club will always be Swedish.

That's dreadful to hear. I hope will have a minutes applause before the next home game.
RIP to one of our own, supported the Town through thick and thin.
Our condolences to his family.
All our love,
John and Chris. xx

Was devastated this afternoon when Kenneth's son Erik, contacted me to give me the news.
A true gentleman. It would be great to see as many Swedish flags at Anfield on Tuesday night in memory of Kenneth.
Ordered mine off ebay already.

Worth looking on their website I would think and check if it’s any different for youth team games as opposed to senior ones!!!

Was a complete shock when I got a text yesterday afternoon letting me know he had passed away.

I didn't know Kenneth but I had heard his name mentioned many times, for example during Radio Shropshire broadcasts.
Taken far too soon.
RIP

This hit me quite hard when I heard it on Facebook last night. He was always such a lovely guy, and so passionate about the club. He was one of the original www community (not sure if he was on the mailing list?) back in the very early days of online fan social interaction and was someone you always thought about as it seemed incredible back then to have a fan so far away!
Personally he helped me a lot when I first went to Sweden for work and it was a big shame we couldn't meet up over there. I'm gutted we subsequently lost touch when I had my troubles and isolated myself and it'll be a big regret now.
It was just really horrible news last night and he's been in my thoughts since but in one little way at least the last game he saw was such a high, I know he was looking to come over next week though so that's a big shame.
Rest in Peace mate and condolences, thoughts and prayers for the family. Forever one of the best supporters.

Martin, if the family had no objection could we arrange to have a plaque for Kenneth in the Memorial Garden? Seems only fitting for his presence to be marked. Happy to chip in.
