I think so, it will be interesting to see how Sears and Hart play in the key wing back positions. A well deserved rest for Golbourne tonight.

Thought Vela would be in the frame too tonight or have I missed something?

Thought Vela would be in the frame too tonight or have I missed something? He hasn't played any football since November 2nd, he probably isn't fit enough yet.

Tranmere vs Sunderland the other league 1 game tonight.
The Tranmere players wont fancy another 90 minutes on that pudding of a pitch!

Bugger! O'Leary poor punch followed by a shot he should have saved apparently.

We look so off the pace but most of these players should be quite fresh.
No blame on Ricketts for this, some of these players are failing to make the most of their chance.

Play off hopes finally dying tonight. Not surprising after Sunday's efforts.
We'll just be playing out the season once the cup's over.

Well that was absolute garbage. Following up one of the best 45 mins I've ever seen with one of the worst. I had the misfortune to also be at Doncaster and, amazingly, this is worse. Town so far off the game they might as well be in Essex. No movement, no idea, no creativity. Max's distribution has been appalling and Lang and Udoh have run around aimlessly. A clear foul for the penalty and Gills have simply been better in every department.

Although ironically this is the most difficult of our next 5 league games. It’s not inconceivable that we could win our next 4.

Gillingham 4 shots on target. Shrewsbury 0.
We've had 1 off target shot, and that's it.

Hopefully we will gain confidence from Sunday and not put in an after the Lord Mayor's Show performance at Gillingham. Definitely looking like the latter.

Given we've not won more than 2 in a row all season, I'm gonna chalk it down as relatively inconceivable. Only relatively? I suspect we could win all four and still be off the pace. The top teams are winning consistently now and we'd need to average 2 points a game for the rest of the season to be anywhere near the top 6. I think the 17/1 odds offered after Sunday are more like 170/1 in reality.
