Hopefully we will gain confidence from Sunday and not put in an after the Lord Mayor's Show performance at Gillingham.
Some changes are probably likely as Sunday will have taken a lot out of the players, no news yet on whether Norburn will have recovered.
Gillingham's current form is very good, they're unbeaten in their last 8 games with 2 wins and 6 draws. Like us they're stronger defensively than going forward but, unsurprisingly, they have scored a few more than us. Maybe this points to a draw being a likely result.
Gillingham have just signed John Akinde from Lincoln and he is likely to be making his home debut.
The referee is the experienced Dean Whitestone who has refereed mainly in The Championship this season, he hasn't refereed one of our games for quite a few years.

looking forward to this one - decent short hop from Suffolk and always a ground we've done well at. Hopefully we'll get the side stand not the scaffolding.

Rather then saying they haven’t lost in 8, I’d rather say they’ve only won 2 in 8!

Josh Vela and Sam Hart should both come into the reckoning.
Any news on Ryan Sears?

with three games in Seven days you would expect the strongest team for this game and rest key players on saturday the Challenge for Ricketts is to bring the players back to earth and bring some of the attacking intent shown in the bristol and liverpool game into our league game

Players put in a massive effort on Sunday and so id imagine a few will be rested tomorrow night and brought back Saturday

Surely we should be stamping our feet and say we’re only bringing the youth team and the manager will be at home because he’s exhausted too.

At Doncaster we went with the team that did well at Bristol and were awful on the night. Not sure about Norburn’ fitness yet either

Fully expecting a 2 or 3 nil defeat and the board to go into meltdown.

I reckon we'll start 2 up top. Udoh and Cummings mainly as our midfield will all be shagged lol

“We had a one-all draw last time out and it was a good game". Can't see too many on here agreeing with that observation.

I just hope it’s a better half day off work than the Doncaster trip. After that one, I’ll be very happy to see some fresh legs from the off tomorrow..

What could be better than a trip to Anfield? A trip to The Bridge and Wembley for the play off final as well. All these jewels are still possible and the push to do it starts tonight. Go for it!
