Whilst I'm not defending Liverpool it's quite funny seeing so many of our fans moaning at the prices being reduced and Liverpool not being held to ransome by TV companies. Something which would normally be admired by the footballing community.

Have emailed Brian and received an immediate response back much to my surprise given the day he has had. There will be a separate collection point at the Meadow for pre ordered tickets probably in reception. It’s a collection point at Anfield which is the issue. I’m not travelling from Sussex to Anfield via MWM.

Oops I’ve just emailed the ticket office with same question and got same answer should have looked here first! Doesn’t help stowmarket shrew tho. I wouldn’t have thought there would be a problem at Anfield away ticket office because we all have to have tickets to get in don’t think they selling on the gate ...... but I could be wrong of course.

Try buying over the phone and ask if they can send tickets by special delivery, which is next day delivery you would probably have to pay postage tho

We are in discussions with Liverpool to try and get some form of collection point as they don’t normally allow for this but under the circumstances I am trying to negotiate something even if we supply staff etc to operate this. I don’t have a decision as yet but will push and try and get a resolution!

Well, I am glad the hullabaloo is all over, because it was getting boring.
Personally, I am glad it's a Tuesday, because I can't go Wednesday.
As for the money, it's bonus money anyway, which is not budgeted and while an extra amount of dosh wouldn't go amiss, it's not like we're not paying the bills.
The ticketing is a load of cobblers though, there 15 of us going...

Can you ever imagine the likes of the great managers like Shankley, Paisley, Clough or Busby EVER saying they wouldnt be at an FA Cup replay, nor would they play anything but their first team. 🤐

I’m wondering what the situation would have been if, instead of us, Liverpool had played (say) United in the 4th round and drawn with them.
Would they have disappeared on their break and played the kids in the replay?

Is there any truth in what I heard today about the club phoning sponsors to sell left over tickets for the original game to prevent them going on general sale? If so I am going to be f**kin' furious.
Aparantly a huge chunk of our allocation for the replay have already been put aside for sponsors too.

There were also empty seats in the stand used for sponsors. Looks like town don’t need any new fans it’s now a closed shop.

Would they have disappeared on their break and played the kids in the replay? In my opinion yes. It would’ve created even more of a statement and would’ve had the FA panicking even more. I honestly don’t think it’s anything personal to us, we’re just unfortunate to be caught in the crossfire.

Would they have disappeared on their break and played the kids in the replay? you don't need to wonder you have a recent comparison for real they fieldest their strongest side, gave us the upmost respect and ensured there was no replay in fact they didn't give us a touch of the ball, quite an anti climax and disappointing night really even Fergie never used to moan about the number of games, I see Liverpool won tonight at west ham not bad considering West Ham had one extra days rest poor lads from liverpool need a holiday

yes, it was late lol I see your point now sorry and I think having drawn against united with a 2nd stream would have sent them on their holiday with all the more arrogance and still not caring about the eventual outcome
