Fair play to them for getting through to play Man U but imagine the melt down on here in trying to get a ticket for Sunday?!

Selling tickets until after midnight last night...... Anyone with a match ticket / Season ticket can buy online so that’s over 10,000 out of 14,500, if they let STH have 2 that’s about it👍

season ticket holders could also buy tickets in advance of last night's game, and they were to be refunded if they'd lost to Watford

Superb for Tranmere that and what a prize for them. It'll be interesting to see how Mellon goes about things this time around, I really never got the impression we did gave it all we could in that game against Manchester. As if we were happy to be there and looking to keep the score down as best as possible. No way near on a par with the last Liverpool game in the 90's but it was a bit of a let down. Sure the Manchester lads will be looking forward to playing on that pitch with the "pressure" they seem to be under at the minute.
And what about Watford, appreciate they got spanked in last seasons final but I'm sure their fans wouldn't have minded another go. 11 changes made by them last night and the home side took full advantage.
Again do feel we sold ourselves short looking to our attendance when you look to the crowd Tranmere will be enjoying on Sunday.
Anyhow, their game will serve as a very nice aperitif indeed come Sunday...👍

We could even help them out. Subject to Data Protection rules, field their emails, I reckon with a bit of knowledge we could answer 80% of them and free up Tranmere staff. Are our ticket office staff free for a couple of days or moved over to game preparations? It would make a great lower league FA cup story.

They may have longer to prepare looking at the state of the pitch and the poor weather forecast for Sunday.

I had a similar thing when i played competitive Rugby, our Semi Final got called off so many times, and we had 3 days to prepare, it certainly helped us.

Saw something on F/B that made me smile.”Tranmere are disappointed to be playing Man U after beating Watford - they are hoping to draw a big club in Round 5”. Shrewsbury Town maybe?

Shrewsbury Town maybe? did the next joke mention about how united fans are disappointed about having to travel up from London now instead of down the road to Watford ?

No they’re not free as they’ve been seconded to the Oswestry Town ticket office due to some issues they are experiencing.

BC: Right guys, congratulations on selling out the Liverpool game in a well-processed, orderly fashion that was regarded even by our harshest critics as efficient. Ticket office staff: Cheers Brian, it's been a tough week but we're glad it's all gone smoothly and looking forward to the game on Sunday! BC: Erm, thing is StaffordShrew's had an idea.....

Who said slavery had been abolished?
Though I was sort of thinking "You will get your normal pay, plus a little bonus from us for all your hard work plus Tranmere have agreed to pay you for an extra couple of days work".

Imagine being in the Shrewsbury ticket office this morning, with a wodge of tickets to sell but no date for the match.
All on Liverpool, this. Disliked them anyway, dislike them even more now.
