Fey hasn’t left yet, could play wide left cutting inside.

What a waste that would be - he'd only be returning as cover because the lad's obviously not ready for the Premier League. Can only hope they sign someone more experienced instead.

Has this actually been confirmed anywhere or are we all getting our knickers in a twist about nothing?

I would like to see him stay, he’s not perfect by any means but his pace is not something we’ll replace easily that’s for sure.

It's just a shame we don't have numbers in the box to capitalise on them.

Never, ever, trust Wolves with a loan again. I don't like the ****ers anyway. Sorry for Ryan, but do you know how many players they have on the books? Well it's 47. They have 16 defenders, plus an udder Juan loaned in, and 2 more loaned out. They don't even mention Giles on soccerbase. It might be my fault for laughing like a drain, when Man U beat them in the 3rd round replay. (A fust for me wanting Man U to win). Pathetic, pathetic Wolves. www.soccerbase.com/teams/team.sd?team_id=2848

We don't object as we will no doubt be well thought of by them for future loans. They may review and even decide not to recall if they can find someone more Premier League ready. If you want a little more control then sign people up to long contracts. Mr Ricketts knows what he is doing as he has signed a few up to long contracts. Giles was a bonus, great while it lasts.

He is recalled because Vinaigre is injured, he is a left winger/wing back. Usually on bench and comes on fairly often

I might be in a minority here but tbh I think Giles has done well, but hasn’t been excellent. He can run and on his day beat a man but he’s a bit like Chris Humphreys in that his crossing is inconsistent and composure in front of goal is lacking. It would be sad to lose him but not devastating if Whalley fills in that hole on the left.
He still has a long way to go and frankly I don’t think it’s in Giles best interest to make up the numbers at this moment in time at wolves, especially if he gets time to work on those two parts of his game here till the end of the season. He’s a loss to us but I think it’ll be more of a loss to Giles personally in his development.

It’s a loss but he’s not exactly been a regular. Defensively he was a bit of a liability which is why he’s not been able to oust Golbourne since the first few weeks of the season. He’s a good option but mainly as a winger or when we have to go gung ho at the end of the game.
I’d rather we kept him but I’d like to think there are players available who are as effective, if not more. Hopefully another option at LWB and also an experienced winger/CAM.

I'd play Beckles back at left back and Golbourne in Giles place. This is obviously short term with the Liverpool game in mind. Also Becks will give us that extra height if we can get it in the box (Everton 1st half). The kid Liverpool signed from Fulham will play that side and always cuts inside. This will suit Beckles as well.

Feel for Giles as he played his part in the Cup run that landed us a tie against Liverpool. Don't suppose he will be too pleased on missing out on that. Might well be some big nights ahead of him anyhow of course but I'm sure every 20 year old out there wants to be going up against the side that's currently atop of the 1st division. And whilst he heading back to the top flight, what odds he'll actually get some playing time? Is he actually next in line for a start?
Really doesn't help us that. Mind you, for anyone who isn't cup tied its a nice incentive to come join us...might help on that front when looking to get someone else in.

We have never loaned a player out and recalled have we?? Grow up people...any long term loan will have a recall clause in case the parent club have injuries.

Then again, Downie, we haven't had the luxury of 16 defenders to choose from. I don't follow the premiership, so if I wanted to be unkind, I'd say the bloke with the scruffy beard who manages Wolves, is jealous of a little club down the road grabbing the headlines off him.

It also affects the ‘dynamics’ and team spirit in the dressing room and SR reckons that’s very important- it certainly will be before the Liverpool game. If they are taking him back just as ‘cover’ and he will only sit on the bench, what good is that for his development? If Wolves were interested in him and his future they would leave him exactly where he is - settled and playing first team football.

I did allude to that in my post, I mean he is heading back to a top flight club. But the question is, what are the chances that he will do? I would think he were nailed on to start for Town against Liverpool. As for people needing to 'grow up', I don't think anyone is spitting the dummy. Just disappointed that he is leaving us and wondering whether its something the player himself would rather avoid. We all know how the loan market works, the clue is in the name. Calm down people...

I would imagine his view of Div 1 is about the same as your view of the Premiership. On one day we will play Liverpool, every match they will play one of them Prem league types.
