Whilst we would all love to see the superstars, realistically they will be rested. I think the 3 youngsters fairly certain to play: Harvey Elliot Curtis Jones Neco Williams
Coming back from injury are 3 who may get a short run out Fabinho Matip Lovren
They might give new signing Minamino some more game time
Squad players Origi, Shaqiri and the Ox possibles
Adrian in goal

I enjoy seeing quality players whichever team they play for. Some of my favourites have been Best Charlton and Law in their prime, Duncan MacKenkzie and Zola, even though I've never supported their teams

To be honest I won’t know if it’s the first team, reserves or youth because I don’t recognise any of them except Oxlaide Chamberlain and that’s only because he played and scored for Arsenal against us!
Even when I watch England I have to look up which league team they play for.
Hopeless I know but there it is.

Mr Klopp will pick whoever he thinks is right and he seems to be pretty good at his job. We have to concentrate on the league (Div 1).

Whatever team Liverpool play they’re going to lose. Shrewsbury are far to strong at home.

Regardless of the team they play, it’s going to be good for us. Be good to see some quality football. And goals!!! 🤪

They are playing Wolves on the Thursday before and West Ham on the Wednesday after.
Unfortunately, I think it’s going to be the kids.

I very much doubt we'll see any of the big stars. Perhaps they will be on the bench?
I still have nightmares of Drogba and Willian coming on and that was that.
But if their second string beat Everton I reckon Klopp will be tempted to be pretty relaxed playing more of the kids.

I wouldn’t be able to name 3 or 4 of the so called stars!,!
Bit of inside information I heard today from a reliable source.
Klogg will play a strong team as the last thing they want is a replay.... perhaps not as strong as against Everton but strong enough to win......
There you go cat out of the bag...
My source, I work with Peter Moore (Liverpool CEOs) brother so I’ll let you know any other gems as I hear them 😂

Do you really think they have even thought about this game yet, never mind Klopp discussing it with the CEO?!? Who then discussed it with his brother!!!! Sent in peace, but come on!!!! If it was the European Cup final, I’d almost believe it but it’s Shrewsbury, not Barcelona! Peace out.

At a guess dependent on injuries expect to see Adrian, Williams, Mario, Lovren, Larouci, Jones, Minamino, Lallana, Shaqiri, Elliot, Origi
Also, appreciate people who don’t have an interest in the Premier League but not being able to name three or four Liverpool players, seriously?!

Judging by the premiership youngsters performances in this seasons whatever cup, where few made it through, I would like to think we do have a slight chance. When Liverpool played Everton in the last round they were playing a style of football that their young players are used to playing against when they play in the under 21 league, albeit against superior opposition in Everton. But when they come up against seasoned lower league players, who play a much different type of game, it is men against boys, albeit the boys have skill and speed on their side, we have a more physical and closing down approach that they might find a bit unsettling and not used to playing against. I know there will be some experienced fringe players playing but they are not playing alot of "competitive" football in the reserves. We can live in hope, as we do most most seasons.
