What's the chances of Temporary Seating put in again at the South End of the Stadium?
Maybe Emirates sponsoring them might be an option?

Please please no. So tinpot and embarrassing. In what way? If it's possible and there's a profit to be had then it would be a great idea.

Please please no. So tinpot and embarrassing. I would think it would give plenty who wouldn't normally get a ticket a chance to see the game. Was it the Chelsea game where we saw this? I didn't think it looked too bad at all.

The pole-eece and stewards might need another corner and have a say in this. Last night's people on the pitch won't bode too well for crowd safety concerns.

Building temporary stands so people who don't normally bother going can all come and watch us play a big club, whilst also diluting the atmosphere. No thanks.
Everyone with loyalty points will get a ticket, the rest don't deserve one.

Everyone with loyalty points will get a ticket, the rest don't deserve one. I don't recall the atmosphere being diluted against Chelsea. Everyone who " deserves" a ticket can get one. Why resent others having the opportunity? They might have just moved to the area (that's how I started), recovered from illness, come to one game and become regular supporters. But no, pull up the drawbridge, they're not one of us so we don't want them. And nothing would be more "tinpot" than taking only the " deserving" fans to a replay. We might not fill the away allocation at Anfield if we did that, certainly wouldn't at Old Trafford.

I don't resent anybody attending the game so long as it doesn't affect regular supporters' enjoyment. Filling the corners in with Shropshire-based Liverpool fans would certainly affect the atmosphere. As for your final point, I'd argue that it's more tinpot taking 8,000 day-trippers up to Anfield than a couple of thousand regulars.

You said those without loyalty points don't deserve a ticket. So which is it? Don't deserve one or just don't spoil my evening? What is it with some fans? If it's not billy big club b******s it's precious small club b******s. As you weren't at the Chelsea game let me assure you that the presence of those in the temporary seats didn't dilute the atmosphere at all. They weren't Shropshire-based Chelsea fans as far as I could tell. But then maybe I have no common sense.

Please please no. So tinpot and embarrassing. It makes financial sense. The only embarrassing about this situation is running onto the pitch to celebrate beating Bristol City. Nothing can be more tinpot and embarrassing as that..!

I suspect it will be fairly interesting to see how many, like myself take the "ticket at home option", i.e. 5pm on the BBC ?

A couple of points.
Firstly, there was a longer gap between the draw and the date of the Chelsea game for the temporary seating to be installed. Secondly, Capitol One agreed to fund it by sponsoring the temporary stands without which Matt Williams said it was not financially viable.

We're already tinpot enough at times. I always wonder if other league one clubs (the club itself, not the fanbase) get so ridiculously giddy about a good cup draw. Could be forgiven for thinking we were still at the Gay Meadow in the Conference the way we brand ourselves sometimes.

Should have been done permanently years ago. Would have paid for itself by now with games against United/Chelsea / West Ham/Stoke/Wolves twice/ Bury play offs/ Dagenham etc. Offices or bar/ Greggs etc underneath to pay rent

We do not hit 65% capacity for 95% of games held... so waste of money

Secondly, Capitol One agreed to fund it by sponsoring the temporary stands without which Matt Williams said it was not financially viable. The draw was over a week ago and contingency plans would have been made I.e agreeing prices and ticketing prior to let nights game. Would have been easy to let it be known that if a sponsor pays for the temporary seating (like capital one did) they’ll get prime advertising space...sorted 👍 The question is did we?

Everyone with loyalty points will get a ticket, the rest don't deserve one. Not necessarily... Maybe the club ought to include one or two points along with the iFollow package...
