After quite a few Wolves fans ending up in the home end, last season, due to people selling tickets on, etc, this was only ever going to be the outcome and it’s 100% the right thing to do

One ticket per supporter number is absolutely correct on this occasion.

Good decision, fair and simple
Club needs to communicate this at start of each season so everyone registers on line for everyone they attend games with. My lad plays a lot of cricket and misses many games at the start of the season. However I have dragged him along to many away games in order to get his points tally above the 10 before the Bristol game.........he was delighted to go to Doncaster last week😂

Very pleased with this ALTHOUGH I do think its a bit harsh to restrict one ticket per supporter number. Some people use one supporter number for two tickets if going with friends. Your right it stops the families coming with kids, theirs noway you would book your child in as a separate supporters number, seems harsh from the club that you can't take under 16's. I have no kids but surely that's our target market for the future. Just to say i have no kid's and have 6 points and will not be going!

But if you go in person you can organise seats together and if you purchase in line you can link their numbers to yours.

Makes things a little awkward for me personally, got enough loyalty points myself but want to go with someone who has less loyalty points, so is further back in the queue.
However I think the club has made the right call.
We’re up against the arguably the biggest club in the world right now, and one which is extremely difficult to get match tickets.
There will be a lot of armchair Liverpool fans both locally and further afield who see this as their chance, and only pay £20 in the process.
I’m not even a season ticket holder anymore, but have still had Liverpool supporting mates ask about getting tickets. If people were getting their knickers in a twist about Wolves fans taking home tickets last season, I think this would be a lot worse.
It’s good that the club has segregated the loyalty points a little more, keeps semi-regular match go-er’s ahead of those who’ve only got tickets since the draw.
There will never be a method that’s 100% fair to all, but the club’s done as well as it can here

Purely out of ethics (and I haven't many left now) I would not use my privilege of being able to obtain a ticket to get one for opposition supporters who probably rarely go and see their team play anyway. But when the chance comes of a cheap day out and a game they have a good chance of winning they all want some of it. Let them watch it on the tv like they do most weeks, they deserve it.

To be fair the person who asked me is a season ticket holder at Anfield but doesn’t have enough away games with them but I still was uncomfortable.

Well done STFC. The fairest way is the best way. As usual, some unfair comments on social media towards the club from people who just expect tickets for making no effort beforehand.
The club should put a statement out to encourage people to get loyalty points under their belt earlier in the season by just making the effort to watch us play a Rochdale or Burton would mean you'd get a ticket for when the big clubs visit, rather than attacking the club for adopting a perfectly reasonable ticket allocation.

Perhaps we could have allowed newby Town fans to buy a Liverpool ticket, as long as they buy Juan for the Milton Keens and Accrington games in February. They'd run a mile.

Will my voucher guaranteeing me a ticket for the Liverpool game be valid for this one as it was absolutely no use the last time we played them.

Bang on from the club. Those that invest get a reward. Agree with others the club should push the loyality points thing when season tickets go on sale, point out the benefits and the 'big' clubs we have played at the Meadow over the past few years. Good luck to all getting tickets. I'm sure all genuine fans will secure one.

100% the correct decision by the club, reward the faithful first and curb the ‘glory seekers’ who are after tickets - I’ve had several texts from Liverpool supporting friends asking to get them tickets, guys who have never been near Anfield...watch the game in BBC, wearing your replica Liverpool World Club Championship shirt, drinking out of the personal ‘World’s Best Liverpool Support’ merchandised pint pot that your kids bought you for Christmas...
I’ll get my ticket, and my 8yr old will get his - we will be 8n attendance, supporting Town as we always do. The fact it’s Liverpool are coming to town is irrelevant, it’s the 4th Rd of the FA Cup, it’s a money-spinner for the club and it’s another home game to get behind the lads!
BTW - anyone else think that the club have played it well by dropping £10 off the price of adult and kids home shirts? They’ll sell plenty over the next week or so!

I’ve had the same as many on here regards friends asking for tickets as it’s Liverpool. I don’t know why it irks me so much! These are my friends and I’d love to help them out, but when it comes to this it really gets my goat. Was the same with Man United a few years back. Think it annoys me the fact they all know I go year round, season after season and they don’t usually give to hoots about coming. Roll in a glamour club and their chomping at the bit for tickets and naturally assume I’ll sort them out!

I have purchased now as I see that is the advertised price. Very sneaky of Caldwell not to make this clear and obvious. Bit of extra money grabbing which is disappointing considering how much the game is worth to the club. Don’t get me wrong £6 isn’t a deal breaker just goes against the family club that Caldwell shouts about all the time

How easy is it to buy with 3 different supporter numbers seated together?
Can you go in under 1 number then assign to other supporter numbers?
Will be purchasing Sunday.

Anyone know what time the online opens? I've got enough loyalty points but would be good if I could buy before going to work
