Have to say I’m relieved it’s one ticket per person. I’ve already had non Shrews asking me. It is fair and at least it’s on TV if the worst comes to the worst.

Its backfired on me. Did not set kids up with a supporters number, they are still little. They come to loas of games but always buy on my number. Last year (and all years before) not an issue with the two ticket per ST scheme and useing mine and my folks Season tickets to get them in. But this change was not announced and now they are buggered. Its a shame but its my fault. Poor kids, been to some horroble places away this season and a few home games and now i cant sort them for the game the whole school is talking about. Its going to be a hard sell for them to go to fleetwood! Me and my girlfriend both have three loyalty points but I’m not overly concerned about going to the game. I listen to the pod and know you’ve dragged your kids up and down the country to games so I’d be more then happy to hand over both of our supporter numbers to you assuming the sales get down as far as three loyalty points if you don’t find another way of getting tickets, just let me know.

Can see why they've done it as do think it'll have the desired effect in limiting the amount of Liverpool fans getting tickets from their mates. It's seriously backfired on me though, truth be told probably my own fault but I've got more then enough loyalty points because I buy tickets for me and my friends purely out of convenience instead of them buying their own, so now I get to go to the game alone and the friends who usually go with me get shafted. It's so much easier to get seats together when one person buys the tickets and that's always been my role. Guess I'm gonna have to give this one a miss and watch it on the tele so not all bad I suppose...

I sympathise, but it really isn’t difficult to put your mates details on the system and then give the ticket office their numbers when you buy the tickets. I’m a little surprised regular fans have still not realised this after previous all ticket games

Scant consolation for this game, but you can allocate tickets to your mates if they have supporter numbers. Oh didn't realise this was a thing - can that be done on the website or do I have to make a visit to the ticket office? I think you can add them as linked to you if you buy tickets on line. For instance when I buy my ticket on line tomorrow, I will also be able to get my husbands and my sons all in one transaction because we are Linked nit just in real life but also online! In the past I have brought away tickets in person for myself and others at the ticket office and just given them a list with the numbers on. In other words you can do it either way.

Truth be told I've never seen the need so didn't think twice about it - every town game we've wanted to go to we haven't had problems getting tickets. Certainty know about it now though!

If he sets them up a number each and gives them points for the games they made this season, that's fair. Gives them the chance the would have had if there dad was not a total loser

In the last five or so years we’ve had home cup draws against Man Utd, Chelsea, Wolves, West Ham and now Liverpool. Ignorance isn’t really a valid excuse any more

Well done town, this is spot on. Much better than lumping everyone in above 1 loyalty point like last time, and my 16 points will make this a breeze.
Happy days

PS - when we played Man U four years ago, everyone who had at least 1 loyalty point was able to attend, as I recall a few went on general sale so expect pretty much everyone who's been to a game this season will be able to get a ticket if they wish.

surely you have enough points for 2 tickets one for each side ;-) seriously though, thats my point about points, some people should qualify for more than 1 ticket, imagine have to decide which kid could come though ;-) Had i set them up a Supporters number, they would be in the first bracket, thats the annoying thing. But untill this changed for this particular game it was never an issue as I said. But lesson learned. Might have two kids looking for a new home next week! All while there mates who are liverpool fans some how swing a ticket! To be fair had they said at the start of the season that was going to be the change I would have sorted them a supporters number. As i said just never thought it was critical yet! They are only 8/10 have you not been on the supporters parliament? Or are you kids ST holders, would make sense if they go to that many games. I fear the hard luck stories are gonna come thick and fast now from all quarters, but you can generally guess the most affected people, as it’s always the same people dribbling out some excuse or other.

Ticketing for Cup games and points have been going on for a few seasons.
People should surely know by now how this works.
When I bought 10 tickets for Bolton and Bristol City away I made sure the points went against the relevant supporter number.
I apologise now to the lad in the queue behind me...

SP does not warrant any additional points In fact it because im at the meetings and hear the discussion i was content to roll along, it was discussed but no change from the 2 per season ticekt was ever agreed or announced. As such with a family of ST holdes I assumed like last time Wolves/Stoke we could just do the same for the kids again! Should have known better! However no they are not ST holders, because they do more away games than home, way more. They mabey do 20 a season and 85% are away games. Werid, but there you go. I have never had to moan about it before or had an issue, but i appreciate the error of my ways and from now on will sort the kids some sort of ticket tractability for what they go to. Never mind

Most of the people asking to get us to buy a ticket are Liverpool fans. The same with Wolves. It's why we ended up with so many Yam Yams in the home end.

Top work Brian and co.
Everyone who has been to a game this season, should be able to get a ticket.
You will never please everyone but it is the fairest method.
Chances are, it will go General Sale (as the United one did) and if you really want one, get to the meadow nice and early.

Quick question for the club actually. Lets say you and your friend are going and are in the same loyalty point band. How do you buy two together online at the same time if its a single log in system? Surely the club needs to find a way to band them together? providing Ticketdisaster works after you put tickets into your basket you then reassign the other tickets to other people. They do need to be part of your network so I would suggest logging on now and ensuring correct people are on your network

If the club reduced the amount of free tickets given as complementarity to various "bodies " there would be more than enough to go round and make the club more money. It's scandalous how many folk get in for free. I know of quite a few myself that are dished out like sweets

The club have this absolutely spot on. A far cry from the complete disaster when we last played Liverpool! That seems like the dark ages now - the hundreds of extra miles I had to travel, extra time I had to find, excuses I had to give to secure the right to buy my ticket / buy my ticket / get to the game(s). When season tickets were introduced on the Riverside the following season, I must have been one of the first in the queue. Loyalty points, online ticketing and Town knowing who their supporters are, have transformed ticket buying for ‘in demand‘ games. No one knows what a football season might bring - there is always the chance of the one you really don’t want to miss.
