Not such a daft question. Liverpool have no interest in the FA Cup. Great chance for our experienced players to bully the Liverpool youngsters out of the cup so that they can concentrate on other things.

People berate the B teams in the "loans" cup, but it sets up teams like Shrewsbury to think they could actually beat Premier League clubs who take a risk in playing 2nd string players. Can those so opposed to B team inclusion enlighten me as to how it's ok for the plastic Premier teams to treat the once proud FA cup with contempt?

I think the days of bullying are done and dusted to be honest. There may have been a time since passed when you would hope seeing your lower league big, hairy arsed defender go about kicking people up in the air might even things up a bit but most lads who are plying their trade at top flight clubs are built like brick s**t houses today. I doubt we'll be bullying anyone. We'll do well to get near 'em.

It’s not OK, but in the FA Cup I would imagine Liverpool will field internationals to compliment half a dozen young lads. The FA Cup isn’t the football league teams competition being gatecrashed by premier league idiots & doesn’t come with stupid extra point rules for penalty shootouts and such like. Neither will there be a final at Wembley at the end of it involving an actual youth team and a travelling fan base of parents only. I just hope they introduce rules to the FA Cup to ensure a certain number of first teamers are involved to avoid showdowns with whole teams of teens. It’s the only rule they could do with takings from the Checkatrade & putting in the FA Cup.

Spurs away if they can beat Southampton. Spurs are a team we've never played and it's a great new stadium to visit.

Just seen this on Twitter:
Liverpool games 19/20 - 39 Shrewsbury games 19/20 - 39
Which club is moaning about the extra game? The one that has a massive squad with players on 100ks and state-of-the- art fitness facilities? Big clubs in it for themselves as usual. Bend over backwards for the Champions League though. 💰

(Replay pending) I just want to get as far as we can now. With that in mind I think our biggest threat is Manchester City and we want to avoid being drawn against them, everyone else seems to have enough vulnerability that we could exploit.

Dont doubt that town players will give their all in the Liverpool replay but a further incentive of fifth round visit to Spurs or Man City would be incredible for the club and supporters.

I think a trip to City is the last thing I’d want, they get drawn at home to a lower league club every round and win by at least four every time. Not sure I’d enjoy that.
As it’s a midweek game, let’s have a home tie and fill the Meadow under lights again.

I would still love to see what this team can do against Man Utd. Even more so after the 2 teams results from yesterday.

Remember in the early sixties in the football combination ( reserves ) we played spurs at home and lost 8-1 they had a few internationals playing that day, we was entirely out of our depth.

Boring I know but now we are where we are I think Pompey at home would be decent enough.
We are ball 16.

Anyone would do. If we get through this then the record books would show that we knocked out the worlds best team.

Man Utd home or away. If we're going to win this thing we will have to beat the best teams sooner or later 😉

Another Prem side happy enough to field a team of kids still learning the trade and thinking they don't need to be up for it, please!
