"Barnet midfielder Jack Taylor has joined Peterborough for an initial fee of £500,000."
See Peterborough continuing their policy of signing non-league talent; albeit quite a hefty fee that.

Just a rumour going round, we’re making a bid for Oliver Rathbone of Rochdale. Another one you’ve made up. Whatever happened to Leon Clarke? It was a done deal according to you. This is the same Rathbone who’s being talked about as heading to championship or premier league at over a million pounds!! He may not be a million miles off regarding Clarke albeit a few months late - we shall see

With Grant gone and one or two of the loan lads offloaded you would think for sure we'll be bringing one or two in anyhow (whether on loan or long term). Wouldn't hurt if we could get things moving sooner rather than later, already 7 days into January and we've still 6 games to go this month. dont hold your breath, its like the house buying market, only worse we might have a player in mind, but that club is either trying to secure his replacement first or keeping hold of him as they are either worried about a losing a better player or trying to sell a better player first, usually all ends in a mad rushed panic on jan 31st you'd hope any pre planned deals might be done by Thursday I really dont see the purpose of transfer windows myself

Carlton has joined MK Dons on loan Disappointing on two fronts - would have been a decent option up top if we're persisting with the current formation, but also seeing such a fine player join the Franchise scum is sad.

I’m afraid players will always choose MK over us.
Franchise or not.

id have been totally underwhelmed had we signed Carlton
he's probably averaged about 3 goals a season in his career didn't score many in our 'best'. season for 30 years

The Russell Martin Norwich connection was probably a factor.

Maybe it was a one off season but it's hard to argue with 3 behind a striker that grabbed 31 between them.

I would have said that Carlton Morris is exactly the sort of player we need. Works tirelessly, wins balls in the air, holds the ball up and brings others into play.

Just read on Ipswich fc transfer news they have 43 players on professional contracts and will be trimming the squad, should think so too.

Even at 29 Rowe is to slow. He's a conference player. As for Carlton Morris he probably isn't 100% over the play off injury. Without him we would have not play offs. Was a real link for Whalley Nolan and Rodman doing so well

Josh Laurent apparently getting interest from Championship clubs. Stoke, Reading and Cardiff.

Josh Laurent apparently getting interest from Championship clubs. Stoke, Reading and Cardiff. If that’s true as much as we’ve seen Laurent come on leaps and bounds this season I’d cash in. Out of contract in the summer and let’s face it, he isn’t irreplaceable despite being one of our better players. If we signed an attacking midfielder I’d imagine he’d be the one making way in the first team too.

Josh Laurent apparently getting interest from Championship clubs. Stoke, Reading and Cardiff. Not if they watched him last night. He’s found consistency for a 5 or so game spell, surely that’s not enough for a championship club.

Swap him for a certain Ginger Perlo who’s been spending much of his time warming the Stoke bench !!
