LJL is hard working, dedicated and a great character, I want to see him do really well somewhere, not playing a bit part at Shrewsbury.

I'd hazard a guess that would be £3000+ a week off the wages. I bet The Shop's on £800-1000 a week. Doubt were paying much/anything for McCormick. We know Grant is a high earner though. unbelievable Do you still think we pay players £500 a week? Catch up, our average wage is over £1800.

Sure he can do better than that.

Dont think there is much to wonder about frankly. Think most fans would welcome it as it moves out players not featuring.

There is no real point in keeping McCormick. It's a shame about Thompson as he's clearly talented but if he's not going to be fit enough often enough then maybe we should look elsewhere there too.

We've had too many unfit loanees come to the club in the last few years. These type of deals have certainly not done us any favours. Shame though about Thompson as he has shown the odd glimpse about what he could do, if he was 100% fit.

There is no real point in keeping McCormick. Hopefully our own grown talent will push on this season. James Rowland looks a good prospect and Ryan Barnett has not been mentioned for a while.

I see you are following this guy on Twitter. Whats the craic? Is this a tentative throw of the dice or a new signing?

I was thinking earlier with regards to the formation we are playing that it's pretty obvious what we are lacking in the centre forward roll and that's someone who is big and strong, can hold the ball up and has an eye for goal. The player who came to mind and who isn't getting much game time is John Akinde at Lincoln. It's highly unlikely a striker will be coming in in January even if LJL does go as we would still have Okenabirhie, Udoh, Cummings and Callum Lang, but for me Akinde suits the formation perfectly and is only just 30. It's pretty obvious it's a creative midfielder who will be targeted and we need the most. We are a bit of creativity away from a very good side.

Anthony Grant's loan at Swindon expires on January 5th so that one should be sorted, one way or another, very soon now.

Okenhibirie not selected today in the squad. Ominous? lang was back I would have thought Okenhibirie may have been preferred to Cummings on his pace alone. Seeing as Cummings has warmed the bench the last 3 games I can’t help but think something may be happening behind the scenes. If I was a striker playing in our team I would probably be looking for a move during this window and that’s not that I’m complaining about the way we play....none of them are suited to our system.

I would think the fact that Cummings has suddenly become out of favour is potentially far more ominous. Lang was brought on ahead of him today.
Fejiri has been poor all season.
