iFollowing working for me no issue. Getting pictures through anyhow. Weather looks awful. We're in the plastic shopping bag kit again. Promising start. Pressing high and Love nearly scored a scorcher.

after the rugby i had a i wonder moment! i wonder if Ricketts ever has moment where he thinks what the hell. i am going to play an all out grab them by the throat attacking game and press them in to there own third. if he does he does a good job of hiding it. (this is not a serious post so please try to not get your knickers in a twist about it) any way back to reality he is doing a good job like the old add used to say " it does what it says on the label" he desrvers a lot of credit for what he has been able to achieve, if we can have some stability and a mid table position that will be a lot better than hovering over the religation zone. sounds like we are doing that

Well it went a bit Pete Tong for about the last ten minutes where neither team really did a great deal but before that we looked good. Considering who we are up against today and considering its at their gaff then this really is a very, very good performance. Cummings with the best chance and he really should have done better. But so far so good. Good stuff Town!!

town made the brighter start , had a number of half chances playing conditions sound terrible possibly worth trying a few shoots to see if the keeper spils it. can we get somthing in the second half , only concerns for me was that town had given a few soft free kicks in dangerous areas and wycombe have players who can punish us.

Yes Joe Jacobson again. Why we ever let him go is a complete mystery to me. Someone thought it was a good idea I suppose.

oh dear. 1-0 Wycombe. From a set piece apparently. Yeah, floated a free kick in to the peno area one of their lads flicked it on and another ran from a little deeper to latch on to it.

Been very poor this half.
Need a change, I’d throw Thompson on for Edwards and Okenabirhie for Cummings.

Not really caused them as many problems as we did first half. 15 minutes in and we haven't really got going.

Goss for Laurent.
Understandable, we can’t keep hold of the ball and Goss should help to get us ticking again.

74 minutes and still not a shot on target.

it's clearly going to be one of those days.
England lose at the rugby, not too promising here, and now Wrexham have gone one up on League Leaders Bromley.

Norburn has missed a sitter. Free header, 6 yards out and he tamely puts it wide, awful really.

Norburn should have scored for sure. Not exactly sure what he was trying to do to be honest considered where he eventually guided it. It went wide left of the goal, pretty sure he could have headed it near on straight and it would have gone in. Schade schade. I'm a tad miffed at that to be honest, we put in an OK performance and I don't think we deserved to lose that. Just switched off at a free kick... They're top now Wycombe, if we can put together a performance near on what we saw in the first half today we might be OK going into this difficult run of games. Whether we'll have any more luck though...

Wycome came out in the second half and went up a gear, whilst not causing town much problems from open play , you keep giving soft free kicks in dangerous places it not going to be a suprise for Wycombe to score from a set piece . town failed to respond to the goal and a cummings long range shoot was the only save there keeper had to make in 45 minutes. towards the end of the game Norburn missed towns best chance by heading wide. Williams loss of discipline resulted in a red card was avoidable and stupid. this game highlights what town do well ; hard to break down with a good keeper and what we dont ; when we dont play to the fowards strengths and struggle to score. what is frustrating is that Wycombe did not play us off the park and this was a game town could have won but did not capatalize on there bright start with enough clear chances and we shoot ourselves in the foot with far too many soft free kicks.

They are 2nd place and the first half performance was decent.
Real lack of creativity in midfield, think Goss needs to start. Edwards was poor and I think he should be dropped for the next game.
Don’t like Cummings up top by himself, too isolated.
Thought Golbourne did well and the three CB’s.
Not a disaster but we really do need to address the lack of goals. Didn’t force their keeper to make any half decent saves.

as far as i understand it from the radio comentry ;they were holding the ball in the corners to run the clock down and bearing in mind he was on a yellow Williams lunged in and had an altercation with one of there players

Being a tit. Handbags with Akinfenwa, such a pointless red card.

considering they are top they did not play us off the park and did not cause us many problems from open play . the frustration is we did not build on the bright start by creating more chances and score some goals. in the end we threw it away by giving them far too many soft free kicks.

Two yellow cards so he'll just miss one game (Peterborough). With Ebanks-Landell back fit that shouldn't be a problem.

So two yellows rather than a straight red. One match ban I presume. What a fool.
Cross posted. Thanks.

Were too reliant on clean sheets, thre obvious of course but if we concede were in trouble,we only have one gear and thats defend,if we lose a goal its hard to see us get back into many games

It’s rubbish to say we only defend, we were the team on the front foot for the first half an hour. Lacking creativity and goals does not automatically make us defensive.
After that half hour Wycombe got back into it, as you’d expect a side in their position to do, and they executed their game plan perfectly. Get the ball wide, fall over, lump free kick into box, rinse and repeat. And in the end it got them the goal.
Regardless though we should be talking about a good and deserved point, criminal miss from Norbs, similar to those late missed headers vs Gillingham.

Blessing in disguise. He think he's a lot better than he is and for someone famed for their pace he hasn't been mobile enough. Glad EEL will be back in. Or push Love accross and start Thompson at RWB.
