Presumably these are the fellows you were talking about when you said we were ‘going to sign a certain higher league player’

Only a brief glance at his stats but for Thompson it seems he hasn’t played first team football since a loan at Swindon in 2016? Guess coming back from injury?

When everyone is fit there will be a lot of centre midfield players outside of the match day 18, maybe one or two will go out nearer to the deadline?

Time to check the Swindon Forum.... Wouldn’t read too much into what they say really was last there in 2015/2016 season. But Thompson did play 6 games in the Championship last season for Norwich who won the league as well as cup games. Sean Goss knows Love and Williams from his time at Man U. Scored 2 goals for Rangers in SPL 2017/18 season.

Rowland out on loan now then? And Vincelot primarily 5th choice CB? That seems the logical outcome, what with Waterfall gone and midfirld now well stocked.

Thompson can also play at right back, his last game for Norwich when he got injured in pre-season was at right back.

A busy day for the Thompson family, his brother Nathan has signed for Peterborough today.

Just waiting for some to write them off even though they have probably never heard off them, never mind seen them play.

Needed improvements in central midfield so good to see. How fit are they though?

I'm looking forward to when one of them misplaces a pass so we can resume full nitro our abuse of Ricketts.

Well done SR, saw how lightweight we were in midfield on Tuesday and has moved swiftly.
Hopefully Walker goes out on loan.
I imagine Saturday's three will still be Edwards, Vincelot and McCormick though.

It would be great instead calling players "midfielders" the article states where they can play. Winger, center mid, attacking mid, defence mid etc

From the videos it looks like they have already been training with us so I wouldn't be surprised to see them get some game time

It would be nice to also add to our meagre forward options too

It would be great instead calling players "midfielders" the article states where they can play. Winger, center mid, attacking mid, defence mid etc They do that in the interviews. “I’m a player that can contribute at both ends of the pitch, I can defend and I like to go forward and attack" - Thompson “I like to help the team as much as I can from playing out from the back and I like to spray passes around but I want to make sure I help the team defensively as well" - Goss And Ricketts' comments: "Louis is really dynamic with or without the ball, he is high energy with some quality as well" "He [Sean] has a great pedigree coming through at Man United, has great ability on the ball and technically very good with a great left foot. He is someone who will bring something different to the midfield, someone who can get on the ball and get us playing a little bit. He will be good at getting us to switch play which will really complement what we are trying to do."

Does nobody else play?
