Hi guys
I’ve not seen it on here but to confirm there is an SP meeting at the ground this evening (Wednesday) starting at 6.45. If anyone has any pressing questions and can’t be there please let me know.
Cheers Mike

What has been the initial feedback in respect of the new park and ride facility?
Thanks

Question from martinshrew-
Are there any plans afoot for the club to stop being so rotten to the core?

I'll rephrase the question 😊 What's the club's view on the price of attending away fixtures when the price of admission alone does not seem reasonable for third tier football.

Can the club either negotiate a more realistic price or subsidise it? Trouble is if fans pay that money it won't be long until all ticket prices go up. I really want to go to the Ipswich match but the cost is going to hurt

Also, what's the club's view on Ipswich trying to fleece away supporter's 😮 This is exactly the sort of situation the SLO’s can if asked by Shrewsbury Fans bring up directly with Ipswich.... Whats need is SLO’s from all league one clubs to approach Ipswich directly to let them know what other clubs think. Ipswich won’t take any notice mind.

If we had have won the play-off we would have been looking at prices pretty much every game in excess of £30 and I believe one or two over £40 in the Championship! At least there is still the £30 cap for away fans in the PL.

£27 is a small price to witness Salop giving those Tractor Boys a good stuffing and their poxy Chairman (who wont bother to attend)

But we are not in the championship and neither is Ipswich. They may have reduced them but not enough. DavyC is right this is exactly should be looked at by the SLOs and feelings mentioned at tonight's SP. I usually go but unfortunately can't tonight.

Dooble said ze would never go again if the club did something so incredibly stupid.

Excellent interview that. Lots of feedback taken on board by the club and making little changes which will improve things. Pretty impossible to make things perfect but hopefully can make things for the fans a little easier. Not sure how the fan zone will work out being by the away end. Bit of an unknown. Have we had any trouble in the fan zone where it is currently situated? As away fans could use it then if they wished. Personally think it will be better. The majority of fans (home and away) are a decent bunch so should encourage mixing and some banter.
