www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/oldham-athletic-sc***horpe-united-hurst-3697118" Sc***horpe United manager Paul Hurst praised the impact of Abo Eisa after the Iron secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Oldham.
Eisa added another spectacular goal to his collection when he curled a shot in from the edge of the box in the first half before Matthew Lund added a second late on to secure the win.
Hurst was delighted with his winger who has now scored seven goals so far this season." Good to see him doing well. Hmm. To think he started the season off with us but was deemed surplus to requirements. Is that because he can score goals i wonder. Found his level then.

we should not have let Eisa go Funny you say that, was chatting with the Sc***horpe Fanzine last night (about potential move of the Shop to them), despite the goals they are not Hugely enamored with him, and like us called him "Raw" Hes still raw 3 years later. League 2 is his level.

Hurst is apparently interested in signing LJL, which surprises me as when he was our Manager he just used him from the bench.
That just leaves Beckles of his old players, who is with us but out of contract in the summer. Whalley is under contract until 2021.

we should not have let Eisa go 24 years old, 6 goals in 33 League Two appearances, 1 goal for us before he left. He was worth the punt when we signed him but it didn't happen with us - or show any real signs that it might - and nothing that's happened since suggests it was a mistake to let him go. I don't see what you see.

He does seem to have found his level. Glad he’s doing well but he had plenty of opportunities to show 3 managers that he warranted a place in the squad and none of them agreed.

Good luck to him but I doubt he'll ever be a League 1 player, let alone play any higher.

And 3 goals in 4 starts in the Checka trade trophy .........as a winger How does that compare to say Shaun Whalley or Giles?

Regardless of anyone’s opinions on Eisa I think we can all agree it was terrible management by Hurst to have two left backs in Max Lowe and a returning Junior Brown on the bench at Wembley, in place of Eisa.

Whilst us conceding a late equaliser is galling, I’m absolutely buzzing about Scunny coming back from two down *and* the goals to deliver that t*** pie to Bradford being Gilliead and McAtee makes it sweeter still!
I’m continually puzzled why the enthusiastic original posters on this thread like mortgagehound and jaytee don’t pop back on to share the revelry in great news like this, but I’m just happy that me, them and the Iron will be happy. That’s what being a good human is all about.

Totally agree, I see no purpose in this thread about a former manager who isn't coming back, I feel sorry for all of you who wish otherwise, former players who are not L1 standard, and are not coming back either. How long do you need to move on. Let them win, lose, draw, let Eisa etc score 50 a season, who cares.

Cheggersdrinkspop drinks pop - this thread is about Scunny, not Paul Hurst. Your opening sentence is heresy. Rest of your post is bizarre, this thread is not the place to wish Eisa, McAtee and Gilliead return. It’s the place to enjoy their league two successes.

Let's start a thread about Tranmere, Port Vale, and every other club that has a former manager in charge. Sorry Inspector I enjoy your surreal humour but this one you are off the mark of your usual standard.

Let’s do it like that time we both went skinny dipping together in the flooded Severn near the Mytton and Mermaid at Atcham. You go first and I’ll follow - you make a Tranny thread and I’ll start the Vale one.
