As the title says the greedy leech has gone and the new owner has an agreement for the club to be reunited with the land ot sits on.
Historic day for WFC.
Good luck for the coming season.

That must almost be the equivalent of Blackpool getting rid of the Oystons! Good luck for the coming season to you too. You've got a good player in Sadler.

Yes indeed. Both good luck and what a professional has returned to you.

Why the good luck?
I'd love it if they got relegated again.

I bet Roland is pleased. Don't think they got on at all.

I bet Roland is pleased. Don't think they got on at all. He would be able to go into the Directors box now rather than with the fans in the away end

A great result for the Walsall faithful who must be thinking they’ve got their club back at last . Always enjoyed a day out at Walsall if not the result . Will this mean your Supporters Club reopens too ? Good luck for the season and good luck to Matt Sadler , one of our finest . All true Salop supporters appreciate what he did for us , a brilliant professional . I hope he does well for you .

Tax free capital gain for their pension scheme when the freehold is sold back to the club. Bonser and his fellow and future members of the pension scheme will be happy with that.
He's a fan of the club and a fan of passive income and capital gains. Well done.

Not sure whats happening with the Supporters club, we have a 'Meet the Chairman' thursday so perhaps that quetion may be asked. I did hear the club were looking at gaining ownership of it but needs thousand to refurb it.

We owned fellows park, Bonser paid £250k for the land and then got the club (from the sale of Fellows Park) to pay for the building of Bescot. So for a Layout of 250k hes the earned around £10mil in rent from the club he owns. Walsall's number 1 fan.

We’re too soft as a fan base. Sending Walsall down was just about the highlight of last season and I’d never wish them luck or success. Admittedly I also wouldn’t wish one of these terrible owners who run clubs into the ground on a fellow club, but to wish luck on the likes of Walsall, Vale, Wrexham and what not, no thanks.

I get your point.
But this year because of the chronic mismanagement of local rivals our local derbies are Tranmere and Burton.
That is rubbish for us. It makes away games more boring and expensive.
I would rather beat them on the field of play than see them wound up in the courts or be assets tripped for personal profit.
When Roland goes we could easily be next.
It is a long time since we have had a genuine sense of shoulder to shoulder rivalry with anyone of note.
