so early days and whilst Ricketts has said in his latest interview he is looking for more players he did not specify which area.
we will be playing a formation with wing backs and whilst he has said Eisa can go on loan , i wonder if he is rethinking that after the cheltenham game ?
early days for Morrison and Okenabirhie to develop a working realtionship whilst Udoh has a big adjustment to make , lots of if's but if we dont sign another forward and if Eisa does not go on loan
i wonder when we play Dundee if Morrison and Okenabirhie play the first half and Udoh & Eisa start the second with Eisa playing in a forward role ?
or play Udoh & Mwandwe who does know how to score ?
lots of if's but what have we got lose

Eisa on the bench to change things if we need to for the Portsmouth game. I would like to see Mwandwe given a chance against Dundee. We need to find a goalscorer.

Eisa on loan? What would be the point in that? If he is a player who doesn't fit into Ricketts scheme then he's not going to is he? I don't understand the reasoning of sending him out on loan as when he returns we'll be right back to square one. Unless he is able to find himself someplace where he can find a role in a 5-3-2 (I would think very unlikely) or Ricketts changes his mind on his favored formation then I don't get it.
Give him a chance Ricketts, find some way to accommodate him (somehow anyhow). Lets see what he can do for us...đź‘Ť

i know this is early days and i am not writing off any players as they need time to develop a working realtionship. i am sure Ricketts has a clear idea of who he thinks will work in the sytem he wonts to play but i just feel giving the various forward options some game time is worth the experiment and Ricketts tried somthing different for cheltenham.

Clearly the number 9 shirt is awaiting being allocated to a new player. Let's hope we hear something soon.
At least one more midfielder is needed too to replace Docherty, though the Chelsea lad being on a season long loan does increase our options. Jack Payne would have been ideal, but alas he's signed for Lincoln.

I see Jack Payne has usurped Mark Duffy.

I see Jack Payne has usurped Mark Duffy. Not at all. I'm still Duffy's number 1 fan, but Payne is 10 years younger, and presumably if Lincoln can afford his wages, then we could have done. Maybe we tried to sign him. Who knows? Duffy is almost certainly out of our price range nowadays, and still has a year left on his Sheffield United contract anyway.

Apparently last night Whalley was the more advanced than Eisa. Think both remain an option for SR but would expect he wants another more natural centre forward

Some League one clubs have reportedly shown an interest in Jason Cummings. I don't know if we're one of those clubs but Hoover says we were very interested in January, but it sounds like Cummings is more likely to be heading to a club in the SPL.
