Anyone going to this? People may need to remember it’s a 7pm kick off, maybe take a mac as there is very little cover at the ground (light rain forecast for Wednesday evening I believe), also led to believe its £2 to park at the ground but there should also be the option of parking at the nearby leisure centre as well...

I like the idea of this. Shropshire is a big old county and it must be difficult to the club to reach out to all corners to drum uö support but this is certainly one way, and a good way, to go about it. Just hope they have made the effort in informing everyone in South Shrops that the game is on...

A return ticket from Shrewsbury to Ludlow is showing up as £16.50.
Blimey, it's cheaper to go to Brum.

I can’t be there due to a previous commitment but I do know of quite a few South Shropshireites who will be there. In fact, several of them had heard about it before it was announced by the club. South Shropshire jungle drums work well!!!

I guess you could focus on those places where we have buses coming in. If only to inform the locals that a bus is available looking to those train prices (which are crazy prices). I guess the only thing however, is how happy local clubs would be seeing you turn up with the intention of getting the locals down to Shrewsbury on a Saturday (rather than seeing the local side play). But I guess considering where we are trying to get support coming in then Wem would be good; and Bishops Castle and Oswestry. I mean as the country town I would hope the club is looking to try and drum up support from across the county but with the size of it, with it being so sparsely populated, it does provide challenges to do so. Its tricky I reckon.

Swap Beckles for Williams and that’s our strongest available 11 id say.. (apart from Grant)

0-0 at HT. A few chances created by town, but to no avail.

Halftime.
Goalkeeper made one or two mistakes but his distribution is much better than anything last season.
Back three look solid.
Midfield is slow and unconvincing. Vincealot very slow and second to everything. Walker looks a bit lost.
Fey looks lively but Morrison doesn’t seem to be holding much up for him.

goals going to be hard to find in this team . That is definitely a concern as things stand. We have few options up front and Morison aside not much experience in those positions.

That was massively unconvincing. Midfield was so lightweight it was practically floating. Second to every ball.
Udoh looked good though and Eisa was lively.
