Same team to start next Saturday except Walker in for Vincelot I’d hope we’ll be bringing in a Central Defensive Midfielder within the next week and offloading Grant.

Was sat in Block 6 this afternoon and thank God I shall be back in Block 14 next Saturday! That bloody drum wants jettisoning as far away as possible. Can only say what a bloody noise. How anyone sits in the South Stand of more mature years I do not know and this comes from a 59 and 10/12ths years of age season ticket holder!

Quite impressed with Town today , thought they did well. Particularly pleased to see Dave Edwards playing well , he looked fit for a change . Steve Morrison impressed me too , obviously he’s not going to go charging all over the place but his positional play is very good and he caused Dundee United problems with his heading ability . A very good signing indeed . Town could do well this season methinks .

walker had a better game today than his previous game but when he came on in the second half town were playing better and he did not face the pressuer that Vincelot did, Walker is still adjusting to the step up. i dont think Vincelot was that bad but he played in the first half when town were struggling to get out of there own half and the wing backs struggled to get over the half way line as Dundee pressed high up the field.the midfield was very congested what was missing today from towns midfield was a midfield general.

Just spoke to the block 9 boys and they've confirmed that they, and the drum, will actually be based in block 14 next season.

Then we'll be free to enjoy the game just how any self respecting Shrewsbury fan would desire - in stony silence!

I would welcome the drum in block 2. I would't hear it anyway, I'm deaf as a post.

My views on drums in the ground are well known.
Just wish that RW had stuck to his original decision to ban them.

Really don’t see the issue with the drum - if you hate it so much just sit further away from it

Whilst I'm not a fan of a drum as I'm a traditionalist in the sense of not needing 'extras' to make an atmosphere, its growing on me knowing how much it p**ses off some of the miserable buggers we have supporting us.

Why, when I have supported Town from the 1960s and have watched numerous games at the Meadow with loads of atmosphere (particularly in the League 2 years) and no drum in sight do I now have to be classified as a 'miserable bugger' for indicating that as far as I'm concerned both drums (there seems to be one in Block 19 too) are a severe irritant? It's just my opinion.

I don’t mind the drum at all because what really annoys me is when away fans have one and we don’t.
