Not many local games for us this time around is there... Another seaside party to see us off to the play offs again though... 6042 miles to travel this season.

Wonder what the chances are of us not having to play on the 12 Oct and 01 Jan?...unless it'll be against one of the previously relegated teams?

How depressingly nauseating that sky select Salford first up. A fixture likely to be attended by less than 3,500. Vomit. great pick I say would have hated them to pick us to play at 12:30 on the opening day, I'd have missed it for starters

I dont think either clubs has said, but Salop have confirmed they had to AGREE to it so are complicity in the dicking around of this fixture to the inconvenience of fans which is not great. An explanation would be helpful.
We could have just said no. We cant be worried about our fitness and playing Sat Tuesday in bloody October, especially as fitness is Ricketts number one thing to sort this Summer!
I wont go now.

Not exactly the truth... they can be told that the fixture can be changed without consultation for a number of reasons... safety and TV are 2 prime examples

Town have said on twitter they were asked and they agreed... (i asked they responded)
Lincolns original message on it was that is was because they wanted a longer break before going to Play Portsmouth the following Tuesday. They have removed that now I believe.
Crap reason to mess out game around.
It's NOT on TV.

Gives us an extra day as well before home to Gills on the Tuesday, so manager might like that. If Lincoln really wanted us to agree there may also be a financial incentive

If Lincoln really wanted us to agree there may also be a financial incentive Yes, that's what I thought. Longish trip to Lincoln, extra day to recover (work on a few things) and a very long trip to Kent. Lincoln is the sort of place for a weekender anyway, so might workout in my favour personally. And if (ha) we get 6 points from the games, nobody will care.
