To use the word hate in relation to football is ridiculous in my opinion, it's a sport that is supposed to provide entertainment and pleasure. Yes there is rivalry and passion, but to use the word hate is way over the top, or it should be. Anyone who says they actually hate another football club and/or their fans needs to give their head one almighty shake.

Well I agree with your post.it's just easy sometimes when one dislikes something,or someone intensely to use the word hate, but it shouldn't be.

Don’t hate any team , not even Liverpool who are a cut above most other teams in the league., you have to respect a team who have won 6 ( SIX) European or Champions League trophy’s which is way beyond anything any other team can even dream off. Marvellous.

I certainly enjoy the rivalry we have with local teams, in fact I miss our derby games of old, vs Wrexham, Chester and Hereford. I would never hate another club, life is way too short....

Millwall Disgraceful foul mouth fans nope, got to disagree with you there, had the pleasure of a seat in the infamous Dockers stand on good Friday against Brentford. yes it's rough and ready but a friendly bunch of people had a great day around Bermondsey and Rotherhithe (which is quite picturesque believe it or not.

So essentially if you hate a whole football club you’re saying you’re going to make a judgement call on every single fan, player and all involved in the background of that club.

Would also disagree, based myself in Rotherhithe a few times this year and got speaking to a variety of Millwall fans, all decent people. Millwall have their "element" like all clubs, that said I met some proper characters there, still up for a laugh and a good time!

The only club I really don't like is Chelsea because of the violence we encountered during our cup game at Stamford Bridge in 1966 - my 13 year old sister was attacked by a gang of their brave boys.
Then there was the arrogance of their fans before the Gay Meadow cup game. A complete contrast to the good natured Everton fans a few weeks earlier.

Anyone who says they actually hate another football club and/or their fans needs to give their head one almighty shake. This is something I have come to realise. I used to hate Wrexham. In hindsight I see that when we were in the same league theirs was the name I looked out for when the fixtures were released, it was the games against Wrexham that I would get most excited about, that were sold out and created the best atmospheres and resulted in a greater high when we won. While the chimp in me still chuckles every time they miss out on promotion again, I have come to realise football is enhanced by our rivals, it would be boring without them.
