I quite like 3-5-2 so don't mind him building a squad who can play that formation. However, some of the better teams in the Division will find a way of nullifying that system, so he must also make sure he gets players in who can alternate between 3-5-2 and other formations, because, as we all know, if the team is two or three nil down it's pointless (excuse the pun) to continue the match without changing the set up. Not a massive fan myself. For the most part it just ends up stretching the back three leaving gaps all over at the back. In some games last season, the oppositions wingers were having a field day, down to the space left at RB and LB. Would rather a 433. GK Bolton Ro Shaun Waterfall Golbourne Norburn Grant Edwards Whalley Fey Winger something like that ...

What about Elliot Durrell, now at Macc. Midfielder who scores a goal every four games. Shrewsbury based, would love to come here.

If he goes anywhere it will be to Scunny for a lot of money, as Ipswich won’t want to write off £1m.

I think Nolan would love to come back to Shrewsbury, but can’t see it happening though.

Nolan was playing regularly for Ipswich before his injury and was getting good comments from Lambert.
Ergo not a ****ing chance.

Ipswich released Dean Gerkin today, always thought he was a reasonable keeper

Sc***horpe are in desperate need of a RB now that their loan player McMahon has returned to Oxford. PH interest in Bolton perhaps?

Surely he will wait until later on after we have paid Bolton until 30th June and he’s started his pre season with us. Then he will swoop and leave us to find a replacement!!!

Bolton has ambitions to play at a higher level. Unless the tables in my FLP are upside down, Scunny will be at a lower level next season.

Frustrates me when people associate Hurst with big money. He reduced our wages budget from when Mellon was in charge with his "League One ready" players. He took us from relegation fodder to a third place finish on a reduced wage budget.

All teams in the league have equal oppourtunity to sign loan players; albeit some clubs can contribute more of their wages than others.
No sure i see your point?

Confirmed that Carlton is returning for a second spell... at Rotherham😭 Would have liked to see him alongside Okenabirhie but then again it'll be better if we can find someone who scores more often.

Confirmed that Carlton is returning for a second spell... at Rotherham😭 Would have loved him back here. Shame, as he is a Rolls Royce of a player compared to what we have in a similar role!!

Really wouldn’t be surprised to see Campbell back in on loan - Stoke if they loan him out won’t want to see him at a Championship club and possibly damaging their league position

“We’ve offered a contract to a right back. The deal is done and we just need to rubber-stamp it". Grant McCann, Doncaster.
Bolton seems to have taken a bit too long to sign a new contract. Could this possibly be him?
