Can we not just delete the above? I know this is a slightly ridiculous thread but it will probably last all summer.
I presume we should hear retention list in next few days?
(from Pilch, good idea cheers , have cleaned it up a bit, left it there for a while just to prevent an inquest about deleting a member etc )

Be worth trying to pick off some of the best players from the relegated sides. Anyone with decent stats such as Ladapo scoring 19 could be a real asset with better service in a better team. (You'd really hope we are better next season!) If we had Docherty instead of Nolan we'd have probably won that League last year! Just imagine how good Docherty would've been in that team! My oh my when will you find something to say that has any factual basis to it. Saying IF all the time does not show any great credibility does it. If this and if that might as well be f##k this and f##k that for all it's worth. I'm stating it's my opinion that Docherty is superior to Nolan and I think he'd have been one of a few players if any who could've improved that team! Aggressive response considering I'm merely expressing an opinion.

He was rumoured with Rangers around the £750k mark. That was around Christmas. Have his goals dried up in the 2nd half of the season I wonder as I haven't noticed his name pop up as much recently?

Hopefully we'll have a chance with some more loans from rangers for next season

Graham Carey is surely too good for Plymouth especially if they relegated. He would be a great midfield replacement for Docherty if he returns to Rangers. Joining Coventry

Who would you be interested from the relegated sides? Ladapo is an obvious one, I'm sure there's more.

Valid point, although whoever sanctioned the signing of AAH should be forced to explain the logic. With a career record of 1 in 13 signing him was simply ridiculous. I think Angol is woeful as well, plus his attitude appears really poor but at least he averaged 1 in 3 at League One level.

I read recently on this board that AAH was signed on the recommendation of Toto Nsiala.

NKP released by Bradford - that's mentioned for interest, not because I want him back.

The released list doesn't seem to have been published yet, unless I've missed it, but George Hughes has tweeted that he's gone.

Yeah, it was something to do with Toto saying AAH was his toughest opponent faced last year (or along those lines)

Yeah, it was something to do with Toto saying AAH was his toughest opponent faced last year (or along those lines) He's been a handful for opposing defences at times. Not a natural goalscorer but neither was Carlton Morris. If it comes to it, I won't mind if he's still here next season, as long as he only plays in a team with other, more regular scorers around him.

Certainly shouldn't be considered a starter.

This is what makes me feel negative when others are happy with keeping a striker who has a 1 in 13 record. Surely to god we can be doing, and should be doing better than this in the transfer market? This goes back to my point on quality, you may as well have left Angol / AAH where they were and used the money and wages for a single striker better than both, then promoted up one of the kids to warm the bench or a cheap loan deal. Comparing him to Morris is just an insult. Morris hit about 1 in 5 in a lone system as well as bringing wingers into the game who hit doubles figures each. AAH is simply miles away from that.

Are suffering from paranoia, as merely responding with my opinion that the post was one of the most pointless and inane I have seen for a while makes me aggressive, then again its not the first time you have used this phrase in replies is it. If only!!!!!!

It must have been a while since we did any business with Telford! Not seen him play but I like us doing a bit of shopping for hungry lower league players.
