I can see him scoring for Tranmere against us after getting grief off some of our fans. But we'll be winning 5-0 at the time so we wont be too fussed We're only get to score five against them this time?

So we could get money for Arnold, AAH & Angol, Caldwell deserves a medal if he manages to pull that off.

More speculation as to the identity of players seen at Sundorne Castle yesterday.

The goalkeeper is Frederik Schram Tall lad at 6ft 6" and Iceland number two seeing if he can make it in the UK has to be worth a look. Good luck to the lad just 24 years old this year.

Well, if he's 23, not fitting into SR's system, and in the last year of his contract, then realistically we should be looking to sell him rather than yet again send him out on loan. He's 24 on 5th January 2020, so the Bosman ruling would kick in then and he could leave for nothing in the summer. However, the Club could prevent that by taking up the one year option in his contract.

That tweet went down well in the blue half of Bristol.

From what I last read about Greg Docherty he's firmly in Gerrard's plans for the upcoming season. Not so sure about firmly. He's with the squad in Portugal at the moment and I guess that will be acid test. RFC are offloading a few midfielders (Grezda, Dorrans, Holt & Rossiter) but there has been very little news linking Doc with a move away. Not sure he'll get near the matchday squad given the current pecking order so watch this space in around 5-6 weeks time. Nice goal by Docherty in Portugal against Mansfield.

Would love to see us move for a Jack Payne or a Cohen Bramall.
Bramall training at Wimbledon after being released...I’m sure we looked at him once before.
Always liked Payne...I understand he is a coveted player at just 24 but would make a great attacking midfielder...pace and trickery in abundance. Clubs interested but Gillingham looks like they may bag him.
Im a bit worried about our attacking midfield options since Docherty has returned to Rangers and feel that area is key this season for us.

Cohen Bramall was going to come to us for a trial but got snapped up by Arsenal before he got here.

Presumably, this is the 1st day that Charles Cook is completely out of contract and is effectively on the dole.
I cannot believe how long negotiations have been taking place as to what in effect is our 3rd choice goalkeeper.

Maybe he has had his head turned by Wrexham being involved in the Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Biscuit Cup. We cant offer him football at that level.

I cannot believe how long negotiations have been taking place as to what in effect is our 3rd choice goalkeeper. I doubt there's any negotiation going on. The clue might be in the last bit of your post. Why would he be in a rush to sign a deal to become a 3rd choice keeper, especially as it's unlikely to be worth much financially? Regardless of how good a keeper he might be, it's only sensible for him to be looking for a better option.

Scored for Bradford in both their games against us last season. He stood out in games against us for Oxford and Southend, and has also scored against us for Southend.

Ricky Holmes is another player that has always played well against us (and scored 5 goals against us in 2016/17 for Charlton).
Not wanted by Sheffield United. 32 years of age.

So with Messrs Angol and Jones leaving the building in the last couple of days and potentially 2/3 more to go and the decks are then clear for 6/7 to come in.....keepers/full backs, midfield and striker positions all likely to see new recruits to improve our squad and indeed our first XI

We're now quite short up front in terms of experience, there is a question mark over how many games we'll get out of Morison and, with The Shop injured, the only other forward with any experience is Okenabirhie. The centre of defence and the centre of midfield are looking okay at the moment. Who else might leave? The obvious ones are Gilliead, who doesn't fit into Ricketts preferred formation, and Haynes should the Giles deal go through. Maybe there will be some more unexpected departures, like Grant who some people still seem to think will leave this summer.

Good to see Che Adams make it all the way from non league to Southampton in just a few years.
