Another Joe - Joe Day - at Newport is out of contract. Decent keeper and they reckon they can only keep him if they somehow get promoted.

Wrexham fans are telling me that SR is going for Rob Lainton. Recently voted their player of the season and fans I have spoken to rate him very highly, think they are gutted to be losing him, if there is any truth in it. didn't impress me, but hard to judge on one game, 6ft 4 but played like 5ft 4

The young Eastleigh keeper was very good this evening, maybe we should go for him instead.

Rob Lainton has an even worse pedigree than Steve Arnold.
The proof is in the pudding Sam.

Also went to watch the Eastleigh match, not impressed with Lainton, made a couple of mediocre saves but his distribution was not good at all, and his kicking left a lot to be desired, Wrexham fans around me were not impressed at all, it's a no from me.

From the article I linked to.
"Hart does not want to drop wages, even though he is desperate to leave"
"in order to strike a deal, Blackburn will need to rely on a loan agreement with their neighbours. It also needs to be one on favourable terms with the Clarets contributing some of his salary."

Jack Bonham would be decent. 18 clean sheets in 44 at Bristol Rovers on loan and being released by Brentford. Likely to end up at Rovers though you'd think!

If clean sheets are an indication
made history for the club by being the first Coventry goalkeeper to keep clean sheets in his first four league games and also set a club post-war record for the most consecutive minutes without conceding a goal.
Guess Who

Guess Who Cook with Coventry from 2014 /17 played 52 games he was then droped as first team kepper after a poor game and replaced as number one, some time during his time with coventry whent on loan to Nuneaton town. he was under contract till 2018 but signed for swindon 2017 two year contract he released afer a year. 2018/19 started with a danish team only got one game in a cup game, failed trialist with town ,signed by rickets in january. so afte a bright start for Coventry his star has faded when you would expect a young kepper to progress. who knowes Coyne could work some magic but as he was third choice kepper last season and we all saw how por Mitchell was.

is Cmeron gregory still on loan with Halesown? Obviously back now. SR said they would look to send him on loan next season to get regular games, hence needing 3 keepers

Where’s Ron Green when you need him?
