Just a heads up that Ride4Life will leave Meole Retail Park at 1100 travelling along A5 and M54 to Junction 3
May affect travel plans for journey to Ricoh.

A remarkable bit of planning by all involved. Can’t really see how a charity event would be expected to take into account a football fixture being moved to a Sunday, due to a rugby union match, at a city an hour away?!!

The Bike4Life event is far more important than our football match, or any football match for that matter. A lot of money will be raised for a very important charity that should, in my opinion, be getting funded from elsewhere but relies entirely on donations to provide the service it does.

I'm not talking about the charity event organisers.... The club should have asked to change the kick off time/date because something is happening 50 miles away from the ground? There's always the A5, or a train, or an earlier start.

Delays expected onM54 Fromm 11 to 1pm Leave at 10.45 Will you not need to be off the other side by 11? no, it will just be a convoy, as long as your in front there won't be any problem having watched the video for a couple of minutes, it looks more like a race to death

All bikers aren't perfect of course but accidents are usually caused by drivers' lack of awareness of their surrounding, so a motorway free from cars is hardly a "race to death" for a biker with a bit of common sense.

Does anyone know if the away travel club coaches will be changing their times as I think they would come to Telford via the A5 or M54?

I was on about those waving with both hands whilst looking up at the bridge could be a Darwin Award on the cards if one of them ended up in the air ambulance

Agree fully on the importance. To be fair, it probably does far better out of public donations than relying on government funding, and the inevitable cut-backs it would be subjected to. Vitally important service, especially in a rural county like ours

What happens at Junction 3? Do they all come back again? There is a festival at Cosford with bands playing etc for the afternoon, so presumably they will be leaving at different times and maybe going different ways

All involved in the rearranging of the match away from its original scheduled time of 3pm on Saturday. Wasps own the ground, they have a home game on the Saturday, so what other choice did Coventry have? Can’t see what the issue is, just leave home a bit earlier!

Personally, I'm giving the game a swerve and will be supporting this important event.
Safe trip to all Salop fans and bikers.
