He's in deep doo-doo & this'll be the end of his involvement in football, bearing in mind his previous misdemeandors.

Wanna bet? His previous misdemeanours don’t seem to have worried the footballing authorities. I have no confidence in them whatsoever.

He talked well on TalkSport before he took on the role and seemed to be doing quite well with Fleetwood sitting just outside the play-offs. Seems to have let himself down again, although i'll await the official report and findings first.

Will a banning order be considered? On conviction or not. The law is there for everyone.

He doesn't need to be convicted to get a ban Inspector. As resident expert you should have known that. I'm not going to explain it as I am sure you will be deep into your law books already this bank holiday evening no mistakes.

Given his previous history of violence he would be likely to be looking at a stiffer penalty if found guilty on this occasion.

Cannot get my head around why Barton was not suspended when the incident happened.

Cannot get my head around why Barton was not suspended when the incident happened. His Chairman obviously believes his story that the Barnsley manager fell and was not assaulted. Innocent until proved otherwise which is fair enough.

Agreed innocent until proven guilty....He does have previous when it comes to assault and violence so it'll be interesting if he is found guilty at Sheffield Crown Court on 6th November. Being a scouser it clearly won't be his fault and in fact, he's the victim..

I'd suggest a temporary ban for this nonsense, but Pilch would probably come in, like the post and repeat his assertion that Hillsborough was the fault of the Liverpool fans.

Scousers have a reputation for claiming to never being at fault for anything.....and I’m not referring to Hillsborough before I get dogs abuse! Harry Enfield’s 3 scousers sketches ring any bells? 🙄
