another managerial vacancy in the pipeline then?
Fleetwood's owner Andy Pilley is ambitious, and this has been a pretty average season for them.

I guess it was always going to happen - leopards don’t very often change their spots. Someone obviously underestimated the pressure on managers when the going gets tough.

I'm sure Chris Kamara will have a view on this, as David Geddis would. 🚑
When asked by Smash Hits magazine who his favourite band were Chris said Elbow.

Barton allegedly head butted Stendel in the tunnel after the game. If proven, Barton should be given a 10 year ban from all football as Paul Mitchell did after assaulting Grealish. Should also involve a custodial sentence too.
No doubt Barton will get sacked and will then immediately be signed up by Sky Sports as they love a ‘character’.

i remember that look he had when kicking that man city player when he was sent off, it's not just anger and more something deeper going on with him.

Apparently, the Barnsley Manager called Barton a scally.
Very risky!

Surely the punishment will include a Football Banning order so he can’t attend any matches for a min 5 years? make it difficult to remain a pundit 👍

Apparently, the Barnsley Manager called Barton a scally. Very risky! If g***’s racist is Scally acceptable? Many different meanings like:- a roguish self-assured young person, typically a man, who is boisterous, disruptive, or irresponsible.
A rascal or miscreant, a scallywag. (Northern England, especially in Manchester and Merseyside, derogatory) A jobless yob who has little or no education and is suspected of having committed some type of crime.

Tweet from Barton in 2011:-
"Why do people always want to solve any conflict with a fight? As a pacifist, I find it incredible?"
Be assured your social media will always catch you out!

Was a strange appointment by Fleetwood. A big character in a tiny club, yet an incident like this with his track record is no surprise. I wonder what the day to day atmosphere is like there for the staff and players. Be quite a few there relieved to see him go...seems he hasn't changed or matured.

Be amusing if the police decided to arrest him at 2.55pm on Friday. They’ll know where to find him.

Apparently according to the Barnsley fans forum Barton is saying that he barged into the back of the Barnsley Manager who then fell forward head first into a metal barrier causing damage to his mouth and teeth. Obviously any further action would depend on what is said by any independent witnesses. The fact that Barton has not yet been arrested would indicate that it is not as straight forward as was originally reported by most people. Time will tell.

He didn't exactly help his cause by then kicking Aguero and squaring up to Kompany.
