A point today would be good news in a place that makes Walsall seem pretty. Come on Town.

Making the relatively short journey from Suffolk for this one. We've had a fair amount of recent joy at this ground, but would take a point now to edge us a little closer to safety. Gillingham probably safe but will want a win to make sure as well.

This is Town's last Saturday away day of the season. A draw would be fine today but I think it's a game where either team could win by one goal. Prediction: Head 2-1 / Heart 0-1

with Gillingham just one place above us and with the prospect of facing 3rd place Barnsley in the following game, over the last five games Gillingham have won one , drawn 2 and lost two. whilst town have won two, drawn one and lost two. in the form table that covers six games Gillingham are 12th and town are 16th .
if we are to keep our destiny in our own hands then the minimum is a point at least then we continue with some momentum, personally after dropping points last week and then having Barnsley in the following game we could do with a win.
with a number of players unwell we may face some changes in the defence and some players whilst recovered may run out of steam after 60 to 70 minutes. i would expect rickets to go with one player up front and if that is the case i hope Campbell starts, if he goes for a more attacking line up then have ferjiri with him. with laurent ill i dont know if norburn is fit from the Achilles injury? let us hope town start well silence the home crowd and score first, we seem to struggle when we go behind.

Awful away game. Absolute trek, nothing there pre game and one of the worst away ends in the football league, impossible to enjoy the game in that stand. An away game I have no interest in ever doing again, so hoping for a win not only for our league position but also for the fans who’ve made the trip.

So no AAH on the subs bench even though he had an impact when coming on last week.

Thought it was Sean whalley that hit the wood work with free kick? it was. Both have hit the woodwork Bingham did for Gillingham.

Over half an hour in it sounds like Town are in control.

We're the better side here. Don't wish to tempt fate but no reason we can't take the three points here today. Fingers crossed...

Still all square. Gillingham will be happy with that and now have the chance to regroup. On the other hand it stays like this we'll be pretty happy I think.

listening to the game on the radio , town seem to be on the front foot in an open game, we were fortunate that Gillingham hit the post, we sound as if we are having a lot of possession, Campbell and whalley come close . the commentators have mentioned a few times that town need to exploit the space in the midfield more, Whalley was a real handful in the first half hour and seemed to be at the heart of a lot of moves ,whilst Docherty runs seem to have unsettled them. just a pity all that dominance was not rewarded by a goal.however a very encouraging performance by town let us hope they can replicate it in the second half. with some players recovering from illness can town sustained that performance for 90 minutes or will we need some subs after 65 /70 minutes.
