Very pleased for Askey. Strangely Town and Vale both have 47 points from 41 games and both 4 points above the bottom four but we're 4 places higher in the table. Vale are safe in 18th as only two go down but we're not in 14th.
Will be interesting to see how Askey does next season. Hope to see him in League 1 sometime soon.

Nominated despite a lack of charisma, poor interview technique and shocking body language.
I understand that should he win he will dedicate the award to 'some' of the Knobs in safe standing...............

I think Vale's next game is home to Macclesfield, who desperately needs the points to stay up. I bet Askey is torn in his allegiance.

It’s perplexing isn’t it, how some people (some would say, more knowledgeable people) see beyond the tone of ones voice and the boyish glint in a persons eye and recognise the true qualities needed to be a good manager of men (or women).

Worth over £500 as Accrington were 20/1 to drop, doubled with Macclesfield to stay up at 7/4.

I will. Proper football. I didn't even know the Chompions League was being played. I must be the only person on the board who doesn't know who Juan the Cheekytrade Trophy final this season.
Did Sam Ricketts get nominated for The Scruffiest Coat of the Season award?

whilst not a fan of vale ,i am pleased for him. Given that he inherited a side in freefall, and with all the off field issues that have come to light since, he is doing a damn good job there. He only has a contract until the summer. Unless a new buyer is found by May 5th they will be entering administration, whether he would then stay on as manager has to be in some doubt. He is a Vale fan though so his heart may rule his head on this one.
