Congratulations to James Collins on being League One player of the year. Not bad for someone who some people believed was too slow to be effective in league one. Mind you we had first hand evidence of his ability to score in league one at the Meadow!

Mind you we had first hand evidence of his ability to score in league one at the Meadow! To think, we paid him off. Never got why we got rid of him. Granted, he wasn’t amazing when we got promoted but the bloke showed he score at league one level with Swindon. Oh well, it is what it is.

I always thought Jimmy Collins put in a decent shift when he played for the Town.

Scored again on Saturday against Blackpool but got himself sent off for 2 bookings in 2 minutes on the hour.
