Looks like a big crowd on Saturday for a huge game; time for another Wembley style tifo display?
Just checked and you can get 12 81 ft rolls of streamers for £7 with free delivery if you're an Amazon prime user. A load of them cascading down from the back of safe standing and block 18/19 as the players run out on Saturday would look pretty amazing. Plus the usual balloons, confetti, inflatables and whatever else takes your fancy.
Thoughts?

This is a great idea, do you have a link for Amazon? I will purchase some streamers for block 9, and it would be great if more people could do the same. Could somebody publicise this on Facebook?

No, I didn’t go to Wembley but I did see the whole match. It was quite obvious that it didn’t seem to inspire them much. Not sure quite why I needed to actually be present to see whether it helped or not

All these all failed to influence the team. Shall we stop these also?

www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=streamers&ref=nb_sb_nossThere you go, various suppliers on there. Might need to play around with the various colour configurations etc but if a few people are willing to chuck a tenner each at this and bring some bits along it could work. That's provided we have Grizzly Shrews permission of course. He of course might be interested to know that Paul Hurst and the players were consulted (via Brian Caldwell) about and gave their approval of the Wembley display as we specifically didn't want to do anything which might potentially negatively affect their performance. Surprising I know, like most people I'd always assumed that 95% of players prefer playing in front of a sedentary, silent crowd that offers no encouragement at all (after all, we can only assume that Sc***horpe's fans, having travelled all that way for a crucial fixture, will likely sit in complete silence displaying no outward demonstrations of support for their club) but there you go; you learn something new every day.

Oh the irony of it, Paul Hurst was consulted (via BC) and gave the approval. I’m assuming he still gave a flying **** about the game at that stage. Look, I wasn’t suggesting don’t do it. I was merely stating the fact that it didn’t inspire much at Wembley, but I’m sure we all knew it was for other reasons than the fans trying to encourage the team. Perhaps it came over a bit flippant. Do it and enjoy it.

Didn’t seem to inspire the team much at Wembley........... I'll be donning funereal colours and taking a 90-minute vow of silence. If everyone follows suit, logic surely dictates the lads will be absolutely buzzing?
