Cash only at the Bury Ticket Office, Turnstiles and Social club!
Meanwhile, the buckets should be out soon. Allegedly, the staff haven't been paid for 2 months.

Horrible for the staff and horrible for the supporters, although it’s high time they focused less on the temporary stuff happening on the pitch and far more on how the hell they can stop their club being such a financial disaster zone, over and over again. Instead of cheering the “ambitious” signings of the likes of Beckford and Clarke, they should have been asking some searching questions. The club is a sick joke.
I’d go so far as to say there’s an argument that, in cases like this, consideration should be given to rescinding a club’s league membership. Let them join a lower league and rebuild sustainably - any club with its community supporting it will do that. Otherwise it’s just endless winding-up orders, staff being cheated and suppliers losing money while the club waits for the next temporary sugar daddy to begin the cycle again.

It wouldn’t if the footballing authorities were more rigorous in who they let own football clubs but they are such a load of wimps they just don’t care.
Not fit for purpose.

The players and staff were supposed to receive some pay this morning.
No sign of it so far apparently.

b******s to them. Had several chances now, have to suffer the consequences at some point. The fact whoever finishes 4th in League Two could miss out on promotion to this lot is a disgrace.

Car crash of a club. Should they be allowed promotion when they are so clearly insolvent?

I am always wary when I hear about players not getting paid.
As stated in that statement, the PFA helps out.

Comment from the Bury Fans Forum:-
"Looks like we’ve been leading a Champagne life style, but on a lemonade budget".

Haven’t we been telling them that for years?

The voice of reality from a Bury supporter:-
"As a set of supporters we must win the award for the most gullible in the football league, I know that’s a bit of a bitter pill to swallow but at some stage we have to accept that we lapped it up under SD. Maths was never my strongest subject but it was pretty obvious to me that at on average home crowds of 3,500 there was no way we could pay the wages of incoming Championship players. Even now we are on the cusp of promotion with a team that we can’t finance. Well we can if we pay them money that we haven’t got, or even pay them nothing at all. You can’t blame the competition for looking at our plight and not having much sympathy. We could be dancing on the pitch tomorrow celebrating promotion, but in reality it’s a promotion that has been achieved by very dodgy practices. I know it’s uncomfortable to read this but until we ALL start to self analyse our role in all of this then it’s difficult to point the finger just at SD. Dale is insignificant in all of this, he hasn’t been compliant in what we have done over the last few years. We lapped it up under Day, sat on our hands and failed to ask the difficult questions, in a way as supporters we let the Club down and the future generation, it’s the kids I feel sorry for".

At least he's not sugar coating the s**t they are in Yes, but the comments of this Bury fan are interesting:- " Dale has chosen to ignore the rumours that he has not put a penny into the club. He did some due diligence but yet the position is 100 times worse. Are we expected to believe that! He set up a new company to look after our trophies. How gullible does he think we are? He has done his job and wants to pass it on to a younger custodian? Utter tripe. He has only been here for 4 months. He never had any good intentions and has been found out. You cannot buy any company for £1 and turn it around without serious investment".

What a way to talk to your supporters:-
"I do not look at social media, but I’m advised there have been countless ill-truths, accusations, and alleged leaks from staff as the basis of these. As most of these are from the same disturbed few, I give them no credibility as I would advise you not to. Genuine fans do not drill holes in their own boat, based not on facts, but speculation".

Meanwhile, another charge has been created on 12th March 2019, this time between Bury FC and Broadoak Private Finance Ltd. This seems to be an assignment of the Club's entitlement to payments whether contractual or otherwise in connection with Football League Membership.
The Club's latest set of accounts are over 2 months overdue.

Reality finally starts to dawn on them as they take their heads out of the sand. Now the new chairman is telling them a few home truths about what has been going on. Not too sure that I'd be relying too much on any statements made by him. I can only guess what an “alleged mortgage” on the stadium could be but suspect that might be at the root of the decision to get out after only 6 months. That would be consistent with the reports that Dale pulled out of buying Widnes Vikings when Halton Council refused to let him have the stadium. I don’t understand how any due diligence exercise could have been undertaken without it discovering this “alleged mortgage” and thereby allowing Dale to make his purchase of the club conditional on a satisfactory resolution of whatever the issue was. All guesswork but it looks like he hasn’t got what he went in for and now wants out. It certainly doesn’t read like an “I’ve done what I came here to do” story, with only six months gone and the club still awash with debt. Unless he just wanted to save the trophies .....

I posted this on December 28th, but as yet can find no evidence that such an extension has in fact been granted.
"Something tells me that this has something to do with Carrington, where Dale is claiming that he has already extended the 5 year lease from Manchester City to 99 years and is talking about building on the site".
Might be a clue as to something that motivated his interest in Bury F.C.

I would like to commence an investigation on this forum into Northwestmans involvement with Bury FC. There are questions to be answered. Nobody in the world knows more about Bury than Northwestman. Has he bugged the Bury boardroom. Is he stalking the Bury chairman. Is he Russian spy trained. Is Ellesmere where he lives really a terrorist cell. Should we be worried.

Not sure what development this is, I think that the Manchester City land at Carrington is the former Shell sports complex (I may be mistaken) and this is a huge development by a company called HIMOR whose MD is Darren Jones.

Given what you have been reporting, it would take a very brave soul indeed to want to buy this troubled club.
