Does this mean our game with them could be postponed? As it says the EFL are making a decision on 25th April.

I don't think so as the decision is all about where they will play their home games next season and whether they will be expelled from the EFL at the end of this season.

What about when Wimbledon ground shared with palace for years? Or when Brighton (I think) were playing bloody miles away in Gillingham was it? And they played in that not fit for purpose hockey stadium. Same as Rotherham with Don valley. The examples keep rolling. Bristol to ers playing in bath another. I think it's more the nomination of somewhere to play your home games surely?

Just no sense in the latest stance of no more than 6 miles from the city centre Is this just to try to stop teams leaving communities, mk dongs for example. That I'm all for. But a temporary home for a team is an essential surely? I didn't know this 6 mile rule was real? But again the amex is in falmer some way out of Brighton. But no one has issues with out of town grounds. I think it common sense that needs to prevail. If Coventry need to use a stadium in Nottingham, Leicester or any Midlands ground for a reason a me time to prepare and build their own home then so be it.

Well the FA let MKDongs move so in a way they have set an unforgivable precedent.

Where has this story come from? Must say there must be more than a dozen closer / more suitable clubs to ground share with than Town.

From the report last week that five Midlands clubs have offered Coventry a ground share. Burton have confirmed they are one that will consider ground sharing, some others have said they have not been contacted. We are the latest to say we're not one of those clubs that has been contacted.

How far out of town will our next stadium be? Looking at the building development around MWM thoughts will be turning towards how valuable the land it occupies is.

This saga continues to drag on unresolved.
The previously scheduled EFL meeting was cancelled as Coventry have a ground share agreement in place. That is unconfirmed but is believed to be a one year deal to play their home games at Birmingham City. A new deadline has now been issued to Coventry to resolve this issue but they are not confirming what date that is, it has to be sorted out ahead of the fixtures coming out on June 20th.

I could genuinely see us selling the ground within 5-10 years at a decent profit and rebuilding with better knowledge on a site very close to the northwest relief road with better planned transport links, facilities, parking etc.

Do you believe that RW will still be Chairman in 5 to 10 years? If his valuation of the club isn't lowered, then yes. That or he'll pass away owning it and my assumption is it would be passed onto family, I don't know who?

Rather have a day out in Birmingham than Coventry from a selfish point of view but must admit this situation is becoming farcical now, SISU, Wasps and Coventry City council are all having their silly stand offs but the only people who suffer for this and those who have no say in it are the supporters, many boycotted at Northampton, I wonder if they will do the same again...

Must be driving their support up the wall, that its now the second time in a few seasons... When you look to the links above it looks as though this is only going to be resolved once the European Commission has had a look see or they manage to get themselves a new stadium in the city. They have talked up the possibility of a new stadium in the past but that really did come across as more of a bluff in looking to try and force the stadiums owners hand. Does just seem to be empty threats considering they are heading for a second ground share. And as for waiting for the European Commission, that can take 12 months to hear something back so it looks as though this was inevitable. Wasps were just never going to allow them to stay with that still ongoing... Patience must be running pretty thin within the support, I suspect even one or two of those who made the effort to get to Northampton will be thinking twice this time around. What a mess.
