I seem to be in a minority but I think he was doing alright. Nothing spectacular but neat and tidy.
Glad it's not too serious.

I also noticed a couple of times he was the first to react in the box to clear a lose 2nd ball (which has been a problem for us and in recent weeks). My guess is that he has more character than ability, and I would hope we could field a team that he would got get into. However we still may need him and his experience in the last few games.

No Dave Edwards for 3 games to now also put into the equation. Our midfield depth not so great again all of a sudden.

In the 2 games I've seen him In I thought he looked ok and given game time could be an asset. He was thrown in shortly after being taken on so he didn't have time to settle in to the team. I'm glad the injury isn't as bad as thought and wish him a speedy recovery.

Surprised you didn’t trot out the “PC brigade” cliche. It was just in poor taste, that’s all. Very slightly amusing but still poor taste. Nobody’s offended - except you, perhaps.

Poor taste and predictable does not add up to even slightly amusing. But we can only do our best eh.

Most of Ricketts's signings appear to be unfit or not needed.
Vincelot injured as was Edwards.
Mitchell and Charles Cook can't push past Arnold
Walker on Loan and Smith not near the squad.
Ooooohhh Doughie Loft - what a strange season its been.

Ooooohhh Doughie Loft - what a strange season its been. Yes, a good manager would have known those injuries were going to happen. Perhaps he should just have made sure he had exactly 18 super-fit players - no more, no less. So wasteful.

Well at least Askeys signings hit the ground running.

Well at least Askeys signings hit the ground running. That explains why we made such a great start to the season.

After 11 league games, we had ONE more point under Askey that we do under Ricketts.... If his signings hit the ground running it didnt count for very much!

Kennedy and Loft hit the ground running. Played in the 1st League game and then never started another one.

Talking of Paul Hurst. There doesn't seem to be much mention of his name when managers jobs become available these days. He had a failure at Ipswich which may not have been all down to him when you look at whats happened since he left. It does make you wonder if the circumstances under which he left us are a factor and clubs are a little wary that he may do the same to them. With any job he applied for you would think the Chairman of that club would pick up the phone to our CEO for a quick verbal reference before interviewing Hurst and there endeth the first lesson.

considering how well docherty , Luarent and have been playing i would think the best he would get is he might be on the bench till Norburn recovers from his injury? unless ricketts rotates the midfield and starts with vincelot and edwards? (i dont believe that will happen) gulp
