Let's hope for better second half.

It would be good to see a fit Whalley make the bench for Saturday

town 1 Bornemouth 2 town second best for most of the game a little 10 minute flurry late in the game but overall poor
Bournemouth's number 10 Taylor and number 11 O'Connell caused town a lot of problems
we had a triaist number 4 as left back /wing back neat and tidy looked good, he linked up well with Eisa who looked towns best player and showed some threat going forward and worked hard. Whalley was subbed after 30 minutes i hope that was planed. town 0-1 at half time a well placed shoot the keeper had no chance, saved two shoots straight at him, he does not appear to come for crosses, able to clear the ball up the park, then two errors made a mess of a fairly straight forward shoot 0-2 , got caught completely out of position fortunately for him the shoot went wide
holloway worked hard but most his flick on's did not get picked up, scored towns goal strong header from a well placed cross by number 10 rowland. if i was the coach i would wont to shake Angol just walked about he ran four times and he failed to get on a cross that just needed a touch to go in. Sam jones played in the hole in midfield contributed very little Holloway pulled up holding his hamstring he then sat down and was holding his groin and went straight off Mwandwe came on he is usually a live wire but struggled against a well organised defence .they are a premiership team someone said it was there under twenty three team so you expect a bit of quality. but town huffed and puffed and generally were poor.

I was really disappointed with Angol and I didn't realise Sam Jones was playing until he was subbed 😊

No point in continuing like this. Some sort of decision needs to be made.

I wouldn't be bothered if he left tomorrow.

Getting fed up of Angol. Take your chance while here man, otherwise your career is going down the pan. As someone who would never have achieved a pro signing At Shrewsbury, I can't stand to see him waste it.
Shrewsbury fans like a tryer, one of the best springs to mind - Pete Wilding.

Don't know much about employment law but surely there is a route which can be taken if someone is clearly not trying to do the job they are employed to do. Possibly difficult to prove in football.

How far off the first team is/should rowlands be? I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't knocking on the door within the next 12 months.

I wouldn't be bothered if he left tomorrow. totally agree over 90 minutes he only ran four times !! he just strolled around and contributed nothing, in sharp contrast the trialist ran himself into the ground, he had some nice interplay with Eisa and was often calling for the ball i had hoped smith's arrival might be the kick up the pants Angol needed to galvanise him, what is so frustrating is whilst he is not as good a player as he thinks he is, when he applies himself he is capable of scoring goals. instead we see this cant be bothered attitude. if rickets cant sort him out you cant make a player play . the problem is Holloway went of injured so who do we play up front

An assumption seems to have been made that the 10th player to leave this window will be Sam Jones, maybe it will be Lee Angol?

Sam jones played in the hole in midfield contributed very little hopefully the groundsmen will fill this hole in before saturday and Flash Gordon can concentrate on being saviour of the universe instead

It's been years since I went to an away game. How much do they cost? Can you buy them through your fancard?
