2 days ago we had 3k tickets left available to 300 fans who could only get 2 max = 600 sold if all took them up This morning we opened sales to next bracket down with only a couple of hundred left when there should be over 2k? What am I missing.... I cant get my head around it either?? I know there's been a lot of interest on the Sponsorship side taking up seats either side of the Sovereign Club.

Presume they may have gone on sale at 00:01 online and sold a load?

Who said there were 700 left? Was it someone at the club?
Looked like there were a lot more than 700 left when I bought mine.
Was surprised that I could buy them before 9am as I thought this was the time they were available from?

To be fair this has turned out to be a right shambles as a lot of people predicted!

I expected to log on at 10 and not get the seats I wanted but have a reasonable pick down the corners. . All the people with season tickets /and points should of got a ticket. Even go on general sale like the West Ham game, That was a Points +1 and that worked fine. There will be a lot of very disappointed people this morning.

From my first reading of this thread it does look like a lot of People with 5, 6, 7 upwards points have missed out on tickets . I’m guessing a lot of these people have probably attended the majority of games and probably a lot away aswell but just pay on the gate ?! They have probably all missed out to children who have never been before or even worse , wolves fans . The club have acted disgracefully with this game . Bit different if it’s a club not so local - a lot of shrewsbury fans work in Telford with wolves fans and it was pretty obvious there would be season ticket holders getting tickets for wolves fans , and also children that have probably never been before and will be more interested in United arsenal on Friday night . This was a game that was always going to sell out and should have been 1 ticket per reference number . As for the clubs maths , more lies from people behind closed doors , those waiting for an answer do you really expect the truth? Yet more ticketing disasters not letting people with the right loyalty points buy at certain times, opening sales early and not giving every fan an equal chance in my opinion . No wonder they’ve been ****ing quiet on numbers the last few days , the lying barstewards. I would take a guess STFC have lost more fans than they’ve gained from this . Feel for those without a ticket who should have rightfully had one , but have been let down by the clubs joke of a policy , joke of a online ticketing system , joke of a telephone System , and lying staff.

Club said 700 were available from 9am today but looks like sales opened at midnight, and by 9am only a few hundred were left. Still there should have been around 2k left to sell not 700 which is the weird bit!

I’m a season ticket holder and absolutely agree one season ticket = one ticket for games like this. I feel for points holders who haven’t got tickets and hope that anyone on here who suddenly finds they have a spare will advertise it on here for our genuine fans.
I see there’s an article in the Star saying it’s a sell out but when I looked just now nothing on Shrewsweb.

Tweet is posted on previous page in this thread.
Considering there was supposed to be around 3000 left for around 300 fans on 10 points or above it doesn't stack up. I know myself and the other 3 I travel with only got 1 ticket each!!!

Tried at 7:45 and they were still only available to those with 10+ points. Tried at 9 and they were available so grabbed a brace, but there was only around 50-100 available then. Perhaps they haven’t made all the tickets available online.
There’s been no comms saying it’s sold out so presume there must be some still available in person / on the phone.

I have tried calling and emailing all morning. No answer and no reply. I can’t be the only frustrated supporter with between 9-1 loyalty points who has missed out.
I feel the club have got their ticketing strategy very badly wrong.
I spent 36 hours in a rainy Fleetwood... the club should be calling me, and asking me where I want to sit, rather than giving tickets away to season ticket holders ‘friends’.

Lucky enough to grab a pair at 8:50am this morning. Tbh when I looked then there was only a handful of two seats together left? Given the club statements I kind of expected more to be there but the whole thing has been handled like a joke.

What am I missing.... I cant get my head around it either?? I had to call up after Stoke away and get three or four games manually added (they were on my account, just without having the loyalty applied). I reckon the 300 was a bit of an underestimate if that happened a bit across the board. It really isn't many games, I feel like I've hardly been at all this year, but I've got 11 points - 300 only to qualify for that always seemed very low to me. Think there were also a few hundred STHs who hadn't bought when they last gave info? Have to say though, my experience with the ticket office staff was good. Got through quickly before the sale started to get my account amended. Then when they went on sale, received an error message saying I didn't have the right credentials, so just rang, got through within a minute, and was sorted.

I admit this is based on a small number of people but all season ticket holders I know have got 2 tickets, one for them and one for a fellow town fan who had loyalty points but didn't want to wait. As I said I know it's only a small population but wouldn't surprise me if theres more that fall into that category, than falling into the hands of kids who have never been or Wolves fans.

Season ticket holders 1 ticket each and those with loyalty points could get 1 ticket each, up until general sale. Then when they went on general sale, you could get up to 4 tickets. That way, pretty much all fans (who have been to games) managed to get tickets. Feels a shame to miss out on such a big game. I will have to stream it but it’s nothing like being there.

I was lucky and did get ticket but in 14 never been there before . Normally go in safe standing and there is lots of room so be interesting when they start complaining they have to stand up. May be there will be a few returns or less netting used and a few unwanted sponsor tickets that can be given to people with points. Hate a sell out when you see lots of empty seats.

I had 11 loyalty points (had to ring the club to get points correctly allocated last week though) and have been ok to get a ticket. I can only echo sentiments to folk who have loyalty points but haven't been able to get a ticket. Everybody who has a loyalty point this season should have had the opportunity to purchase a ticket.
Also, some of the comments on here by people putting down the concerns of supporters with loyalty points leave a lot to be desired, as has been proven.
I hope there are Wolves fans dotted around the home end and trouble does break out if it means lessons are learnt.

They do say that the season ticket is your only way of guaranteeing your seat for all games...
If we were as successful as people want us to be then we’d be selling out most games and inevitably that means some people left disappointed.

If every season ticket holder would have taken up the offer of 1 extra adult and 2 children . 3500 x 4 doesn’t really work does it . It would have been first Come first served . What the **** were the club thinking ? You’d like to think they’ll learn a lesson from this but they won’t . Rotten to the core . As mentioned above , everybody with at least a couple of loyalty points should have been able to get a ticket , and without queuing up in the cold too . With their pathetic phone answering history , pathetic online system etc even season ticket holders had to queue up in the cold if there was an issue with their account or they couldn’t do it online or on the phone . Shouldn’t be like this ever !!! Hope Brian Caldwell comes out and explains himself , or whoever was behind this disaster !!

The club cannot shy away from the fact they allowed season ticket holders to purchase 4x tickets. The Manchester United ticketing seemed fine, don't recall too many posts of disapointment then, so why change it?
Hope there are Wolves fans in the home end and trouble breaks out if it means the club actually learn for once.

But we are not successful at the moment rarely sellout and the allocation has been a fiasco.
I had 8 points so knew full well when I would be able to buy a ticket. The guidance states points only for league games so the FA cup games this season were not on my total. So today I log on having been travelling back from a trip away only to find its sold out but not only that they have added the FA cup games to my account and I could have bought tickets as I would have been over 10 points. No communication from the club to tell me this.
I understand the need to generate future support and allowing more children to attend but the numbers just don't stack up.

I was gobsmacked today at 10.30 when just about to leave on a 60 mile round trip to get 2 tickets, I managed to get through to the club to be told not to bother. Unfortunately the system has let down the likes of me who attend around 15 to 20 games a season home and away as I prefer to pay cash on the day at the back of the stand rather than wait in a slow queue in the rain to get a point on my card (of which I have about 5). Same goes for away games I like to pay cash on the day. So my loyalty for seeing all of the cup games and a fair few league games counts for nothing because I don't find the phone/online/ticket office experience suits me. Could someone post Mr Caldwells email address on here please? First time ever I have been unable to get a ticket in 40 years, it can't just be me !!!!
