Just seen on the club website that Wolves Sales Close To 4,200 Mark! I would imagine not many if any left after Saturday. So even though I have 10 loyalty points, my chances of getting a ticket are getting slimmer by the minute. Brian Caldwell will have some interesting questions to answer!!

Well I do have 10 loyalty points so still hope that I can get a ticket. But those with 1-9 points would imagine very little chance. Just madness, Brian Caldwell needs to answer the questions from loyal fans who are not able to get a ticket Basically the club are determined to force everybody to buy a season ticket. There is little point buying a 'loyalty' card as in instances like this it counts for nothing.

I can only echo what others have said above. With this way of selling tickets there will be the same amount of ST holders friends/Wolves fans who’ve been given tickets as genuine Town fans who have less the 10 loyalty points.
I have a problem with the loyalty points in general, as somebody who’s been going to approx 40 games per season for around 10 years I’ve now had to stop going as often due to finances and other commitments meaning I’m sitting on 6 loyalty points. 6 loyalty points for someone who’s been racking up 40 odd games a season but hasn’t been able to go much this season, travelled to 85+ grounds watching the club, just seems abit daft to me, I know many, many others have been going for much longer then me, I just don’t feel like a fan who deserves 6 loyalty points? Just abit of a rant which has been boiling up for a while, but I understand this is just how it works now, so be it.
If I don’t get a ticket for this game I don’t get a ticket, the club have messed up again, the question is do I actually want to go to a game where half the crowd is either a local Wolves fan who’s got in the home end or just coming along for a big game.

I do feel for you. My father is in the same boat as you. He is now 77, and has been to two games this season. So his chance of a ticket are virtually zero. Very disappointing by the club again Each season ticket holder should get just one ticket, their own ticket!! Then do a sale to 10 plus point's Then to 5 plus point's Then to 1 point plus

( and you complain about not wanting to be amongst fans only there cos its a big game ? ) having a season ticket 10 years ago is hardly a claim for a ticket if they did sell by order of loyalty points ,6 might not mean you qualify anyway if everyone with more wants one

it will calm down tomorrow after the initial rush! Don’t panic . I hope you are right mate.!! if you have plenty of loyalty points I genuinely wouldn’t panic . As I’ve said above I do believe it should be ST holder’s who have attended fa cup games with the priority , not only to secure their seat but to not have to queue for hours in the cold ! It’s a total joke . A season ticket holder should not have to stand in a queue for over 15 mins to get their seat for a game , let alone 2 hours. Not a chance . And it should be 1 ticket per reference number .Club have ****ed it up massively again and have questions to answer - in my opinion .

I understand your reasons for being p***ed off, but how do you know that st holders extra tickets have gone to non supporters? Mine has gone to a family member who has come to town matches with me occasionally. I haven't missed a home game for the last 2 seasons and I think I only missed a couple the year before that. I also go to a lot of away games, so actually I think one extra ticket is about right for season ticket holders after all if we miss a match due to illness etc we have still paid for our seat. I'm also 'an adult' and see every other groups get discounts, but our prices go up! Away matches cost me more than I can really afford, but I go to support the team and because I enjoy them. I also see other fans who only go to a few games getting discounts or buy one get one free. As I said before I think 3 tickets is a bit much, but 1 is fair.

We will all get a ticket, a lot panicking and moaning when it's near enough the same system as we used for Chelsea and United. We all got in and even if there's a few Wolves in the safe standing it won't be a shock. We've had away fans in there all season. Oh and I've got mine

The same old usual moans and groans.
The club try and reward season ticket holders by offering them a sweet package for their unwavering support this season. To those who have que'd and purchased one ticket that was your choice as you could've purchased via the phone or online.
I really cannot see our 3000 season ticket holders each bringing a friend + 2 kids. If anything the take up of that offer will far less than half.
A quick dash of my ticketing calculator then.
8300 ish available - 600 odd comps and sovereign - 3000 season ticket holders - 1500 take up of season ticket offer (generous imo) = 3200 available for 10+ loyalty points.
Basically i would be very very suprised if it doesn't make 1-10 loyalty point bracket and even then if you are quick online then no sweat.

Would be good to invest in some retractable seating for the corners like they use in gym halls and at the theatre in shrews side room Will then cover up the corners and could be used on big games. Not sure if cost effective but be pretty cool

Apologies if I have missed it in the club comms or on here - but does anyone know if the tickets purchased over the phone for Wolves are being sent out or are collection only?
I was asked if i wanted them printing yesterday - which i said yes to - but forgot to ask whether its collection or post.
Obviously I don't want to be joining a 2 hour queue to collect to find out they're in the post ... Thanks in advance.

If they did as you say, you would be eligible for a ticket, but unable to buy a ticket for your father. When he became eligible for one, you would probably be unable to sit together, and that would seem unfair

Look whatever the club do they are going to upset one group or another. They cant please everyone. Do yourself a favour and insure yourself by getting sufficient points on your profile. Ten points or more and you are in with a chance. That’s a rubbish argument. For the Man Utd game no one not even sovereign members were allowed extra tickets . Much fairer and no one complained . My mate in the sovereign has got a ticket for his brother and his 2 nephews . Neither particularly like football last went to a game 6 years ago. Didn’t even go once last season. That can’t be right can it

Quick question:
1-9 loyalty points becomes available on Tuesday 22nd. If i'm buying online for fan card, will they be available at 00:01 or will it be 09:00 onwards?

Warning to anyone who has higher points and is waiting to get tickets with someone who has 1-9 points. I did the same when getting Man Utd tickets and once the lower band kicked in it stopped me getting tickets for those on higher points!!! Ended up having to get the ticket office to ring me back to sort it out over the phone!

I can't go until tomorrow morning but at this rate I doubt I will be able to get a seat near me and worst still potentially a lot of Wolves fans in the home end.

another example of our ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL online ticketing system that hasn’t been made any better since it first went live . They make up a rule of allowing season ticket holders getting an extra ticket and then you can’t even do it online ? ****ing p**stake . Thought they used someone like ticketmaster to fine tune all these problems . It’s a joke .

I’ve read the piece again and the Wolves fan actually says ‘tickets’, obtained through his daughters boyfriend and her Dad.

A Wolves fan writing in the ‘I’ newspaper today says he has his ticket among home supporters via a family member who is a Town ST holder. disgrace . Come on Caldwell come out and explain yourself . If you limit it to one per person then some people will complain and a greater percentage will end up going on general sale, therefore more chance of Wolves fans buying them. Brian Caldwell/STFC are trying to do their best to make sure that tickets end up in the hands of Shrewsbury fans. They can't be held responsible if Shrewsbury fans are selling them onto Wolves fans. Whatever the club do, they will get criticised. The reality is despite lots of moaning, genuine fans will get a ticket. In previous games I've remembered lots of moaning/panic but very few people subsequently moaning they couldn't get a ticket.

had it been 1 ticket per person these tickets would inevitably ended on general sale and anyone could have got their hand on them then
as it stands the only wolves fans obtaining tickets are pretty much good mates of season ticket holders that probably live in Shrewsbury anyway or they are probably woodwork fans coming out to see a big game
it does save the logistical nightmare of policing the tickets on general sale not to mention the time it will take each buyer to be served as they won't be on the system and all that
I mean come on, if you feel hard done by here, start a thread up explaining your story
at least we'll all judge you ;-)
and after that someone will feel sorry and get you a ticket
