Until the Blackburn and Doncaster games in January 2018 I'd agree with you 100%. Henderson was absolutely outstanding. But after those games some mistakes began to creep into his game and he wasn't as confident in coming for crosses as had been the case before.
agree apart from when you say macgilivaray was treated badly by hurst . At the time we had a better keeper in goal.
To refresh everyone's memories, the Blackburn game was when Henderson was subsequently banned for 3 games after throwing objects into the crowd, and the Doncaster game was where he carried the ball over the line when coming for a cross.
MacGillivray performed well on the occasions on which he was called upon, and I believe had an outstanding game at Portsmouth after he was required to deputise for Henderson. But after his 3 match ban had been served, Henderson was immediately restored to the side.
